Mine was big and the bread was excellent. I had read others reviews and one was exactly how I felt but asked my wife, she never seen the reviews. She said "Good but nothing to write home about ". I laughed, that's pretty much what I thought and what the other review said. Don't get me wrong, it was good just not 5 star good. Cool little place that I'd visit again is more like it.

Once inside you will see it is quite small in size, but does have a small amount of seating for those looking to eat/drink there. The menu boards were overwhelming at first but a large majority of it is their lunch sandwich/wrap offerings. I did appreciate the options you can choose from bread wise and other customizations you can make. Drink wise my wife went with The Lavender iced latte and I got the iced Snickerdoodle. Both were extremely flavorful and were well made. Either one and I suspect any of their other drink would be a no brainer to get again. Breakfast wise we each got a sausage, egg, & cheese on a bagel. Which those came out steaming hot and were made well too. Will need to return to give their breakfast burritos a try! Service was friendly and both food an drinks arrived quickly. Also another note on service, when originally ordering they forgot to discount us for a BOGO deal they have going but when I went up to grab the drinks they said they removed one of the drinks to make it right and apologized. This will be a spot my wife and I will return to for both the drinks and food. We did end grabbing 2 of the 3 window seats and do wish it had no painting on the windows so we could watch outside better. It's a space that isn't trying to be over the top or blow your mind with the vibes but they deliver delicious food and good drinks for you with friendly and fast service.

Finally, the hostess came and seated us at the empty table I had passed 20 minutes earlier. Could only assume they didn't seat us there sooner because they're understaffed, which is the case at pretty much all restaurants in Portland. Once we were seated, everything went very smoothly. Service was great, server delightful, food well prepared and just right. My sister had granola with yogurt and fresh fruit, her husband had salmon benedict, and I had classic benedict. All were great, as were the home fries served with the benedicts. Well worth the price and the wait. This is a venerable old Portland establishment that has been consistently excellent over many years and they lived up to their reputation.

Both portions were pretty large, even after ordering the kids' size pancake. They also had a specialty syrup that tasted really good and paired well with the food. Our waitress was really nice and attentive, and the food came out pretty quickly despite how busy the restaurant was, which I appreciated. The drinks my friends got were fine. Nice shop, they just need to take the temperature of the coffee before serving it, or adjust their temp settings.

We hosted a food truck in our driveway to help them promote their service and kept one of their signs on our lawns for months. I'd love to advocate for a local business rather than one of the other giants, but they really aren't doing themselves any favors by being terrible.

Yup the whole lot of us booted out no matter how long or loyal while at the same time patting them selves on the back for installing internet in Vermont!!!! Apparently loyalty only goes one way with them. If they are the wrong kind of wires why didn't they fix them?? This is like fixing the airplanes engines while it's still flying and has passengers onboard. Why is it they can fix the wires in St Albans VT but not in South Berwick ME (right next door to them) Since this was also my telephone I am in a panic trying to find a telephone service and someone else for internet.
