They measure 11 feet 5 inches long, 5 feet 10 inches wide, and 4 feet 10 inches tall. They weight more than 1,500 pounds each. One might argue that these are not actual shoes, but shoe statues. Can you call yourself a shoe if you can't be used as a shoe? You can't really think too much about such things when you're in Casey, or else the magic starts to fade. Just go with it. That's all I needed to hear. This really is the World's Largest Wind Chime. The World's Largest Wind Chime is one of the "world's largest" items that you can see in Casey, Illinois. This small town is full of large things, and this wind chime is one of them. If I were creating a town full of large things, I'm not sure I would think to include a wind chime. That seems like a random thing to make big, but what do I know? I function from a place of regular-sized things, and my mind has not been opened to the possibilities of large things on a global scale. There is lots of street parking near the wind chime, so it's easy to get to and there's no excuse to not see it!

There is a walking path and some landscaping nearby so you can absolutely get the perfect photo opportunity with the pitchfork. I pulled up the van to get a picture for scale and then found a better parking space so that people who didn't want to see my Sprinter van could get their shots. I would encourage you to do the same and think of the other visitors who don't want you in their photos. Other than the restaurant, there isn't much else here. You can climb some stairs up to the top of the mailbox and hang out inside! I felt very tiny, peering out of the edge of the box onto downtown Casey. It's a great view from such great heights. One thing to note is that I don't recall seeing an elevator. So for people who use wheelchairs, have strollers or have mobility issues, it might not be possible to go up to the top of the mailbox. There's also a real mailbox inside this fake mailbox that you can put letters in. (Make sure you put a stamp on them!) I believe that your letter will indicate that it was mailed from Casey, a small town full of big things. There are some signs inside the mailbox that tell about the history of the World's Largest Mailbox, and a bench that you can sit on while you ponder how you made it to this point in your life where you're sitting inside of a mailbox.

All of the big attractions in Casey, Illinois, have a Bible verse attached to them, because of course they do.
