The menu was exactly as shown on the web site, a wee bit worrying as it was so diverse and pretty long - not always a good sign. Still it was fairly busy, especially for mid week so all looked good. After ordering at the bar, the starters came out quite quickly. Disappointingly I had the bhajees which had been heated up in the microwave so were soft and soggy, and very small especially by comparison to the amount of chilli sauce served! My colleague had pate which he enjoyed. We both ordered the lamb chops with couscous salad. I was really looking forward to it but sadly it did not live up to expectations. The lamb was thinly sliced chops cooked very well done and was pretty fatty. The salad was nice, but a bit greasy (perhaps from the lamb?) tbh, I got a bit bored eating it (and there was a lot of couscous and salad) so did not manage to finish. We decided to skip dessert and just had coffee to finish - and here was a small redemption as they did decaff espresso ( I know, I know, but I cannot do caffeine and get a good nights sleep!!!) as well as finding us some chocolate to go with the said coffees.
