Sarah is amazing at what she does. She understands how the body works and explains how things are connected as she goes. She uses many different techniques depending on the area of your body and the issue. After years of water retention, I can finally see my wrist and ankle bones. I was in desperate need of a lymphatic massage and stumbled across Sarah on the internet. I loved that I could book my appointment online but I also left her a voicemail just to make contact. She returned that call right away and answered all my questions. It was easy to find parking and the location was clean. Sarah was very sweet and explained what a lymphatic massage would be like since it was my first one. This is definitely not something everyone has knowledge in. The touches are very light and most find this very surprising. She talked me through every step and even showed me the difference in swelling in different parts of my body and she worked. Sarah also gave me dry brush gloves and showed me how to dry brush at home. My body swelling and fluid retention went down tremendously after my visit with her. I feel like there are therapists who do their sequence of strokes, their routine,for every body, and then there are the few who analyze the body in front of them and utilize their toolbox to specifically address the issues that body is experiencing. I feel like Sarah is definitely the latter. She wants to understand what is going on so that she can bring about the most pain relief or relaxation. From the first moment I met her, I felt at ease and could feel her warmth and healing spirit. I have now had two massages from her and feel like I have found my new go to therapist. Her massage room is very comfortable and warm, her linens are clean and toasty and the jade heating mat is such a nice touch. She also has water available and even a chocolate, if you are so inclined. I highly recommend Sarah. The only thing I felt that could improve is the availability. At this time massages are only available on Fridays and Saturdays. I can make that work but it would be a little more convenient if there was one more option.
