Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. The portions are huge and I'm always left with enough food for another meal but save room for the Holly Bush sundae because you wont ever have a such a selection of tasty locally made ice cream :) The prices are great too, last time I went it was around 30quid for the 2 of us.

The hole pub looks like the set of yes Prime minister from the 80s and with out getting to personal the staff's hygiene was not up to scratch if they can't put deodorant on or clean there teeth why would you want to be severed by them? as for not being a staff review it is the only review done by this person and reads like an advert even mentioning the companies other establishments. after painfully finding out this review was not correct I choose not to do I bad review only to point out how the one i had read was incorrect. as for your assurance its not done by staff . please don't presume that i hadn't been there.

Don't expect a very quiet country pub as beer garden is next to the west coast main line. If you like trains thundering past you at over 100mph then that won't be a problem. That said the beer garden is rather attractive, not so large you can't keep an eye on the kids, but big enough that they can do their own thing. The mill building has laods of character, they explain the history of it on their website. Food and drink is solidly good, and can find no fault with it.

Lunch indoors during the winter months next to the log fire or just reclining in the comfortable arm chairs is a heart warming joy. The food is always excellent, from a large yet mainly traditional British menu. They have a well stocked wine menu and plenty of guest/traditional beers & ales. The ONLY downside is that the establishment is a bit small in size (indoors) and so on popular nights can get quite cramped but in the summers months the outdoor seating helps to alleviate this problem.
