We ordered a hamburger with potato chips (crisps) for the girls to share and it was more than enough for their tiny stomachs. My spouse and I had the menu del dia. He started with pasta carbonara, which child #1 decided was better than her food and ate most of it. I had a salad of tomatoes and cheese with balsamic vinegar. Nothing fancy but nice and fresh. Spouse enjoyed the steak (good but nothing special) while I had smoked salmon open faced sandwiches. It was so rich I couldn't even make it half-way through. The brought us a huge carafe of wine to share (at least two glasses each in there -- we didn't finish it). For dessert, I opted for coffee while he had a cream cake that was too sweet for me but the others helped him finish it. Charlotte is already asking when we can go back for croissants.
