I parked closer to the Chapters and walked over to the LCBO. It is set up like most. I quickly went over to the beer section, picked out a six-pack of Stella Artois, and headed to the register. If I had had more time, I would have looked at the rum section. I love rum, especially the coconut kind. I had a friendly staff member who cashed me out. My beer cost me $16.50. I used my Air Miles. He let me know that I could pick up a copy of the store's magazine. I did. I have yet to look at it. I keep forgetting to take it with me. It's still in my car! Anyway, they were happy with the beer. As I wanted to pay for my 3 cans of cider the lady proceeded to scan my products then paused to tell me to remove my shades which I had on with my face mask due to the blinding sun and having allergies, i then told her that I have my ID right here why are you asking me to remove my glasses? She then told me it's not to verify my age that she doesn't need to see my ID, I was dazed and confused while she maintained this disgusting smile on her face showing her rabid dentition. At this point I did not want to talk any further as it was clear to me that she was trying to embarrass me and profile me due to my skin colour, i proceeded to politely ask the delusional alcohol conveyor to speed up so I can pay for my drinks and leave so as to not cause a scene. I can assure you that many customers today were wearing glasses and she did not ask any of them to remove their glasses for no reason atall. I have never had this kind of encounter just because of 3 cans of cider my day was ruined by some rando who gets the kicks and enjoys racially profiling black customers because the only power she has in her life is to authorize the payments of alcohol to customers. I will make this publicly known so she doesn't pull this stunt on hard working ,tax paying immigrants who obey the laws of this country and just want to have drink on a hot day. Didn't know it was also illegal to buy alcohol in this day and age while black WTF... UPDATE: I called the manager of the store "Kim Glover" to explain what I experienced and I got the generic company policy defence and we will train our employees regarding racial interactions, told her I don't a f**** what you do , just don't employ bigots who think they are cops in your store to harass paying customers! You have no idea the stress people are going through when they walk in your store for a drink, you and that female troglodyte of a staff member are not giving us free alcohol, we are spending hard earned cash!
