Lots of good finds here from Quebec, good Eurobeers, and a whole shelf devoted to Ontario Craft Brewers. Strong. If beer's not your thing, their non-vintages selection is pretty broad as well, lots of floor space for ontario, california and australia - plus all the usual suspects from the old world as well. If beer and wine aren't your thing, you're starting to be a pain, but their spirits section is decent, too. Not remarkable, but decent. More scotch than most LCBOs, though still no comparing to a bog-standard BevMo in California. Good vodka selection, too. Gin selection leaves something to be desired (where's my Plymouth, or my Victoria?) and their tequila selection is nothing to write home about last I checked but, overall, if you wander in here seeking spirits, you're likely to find something. If you insist on being hoity and/or toity, their Vintages section pretty well curated; I've never left empty-handed. Pro-tip: this LCBO has a classroom where they run a series of wine and spirits classes at various levels. Did a tasting run by a couple of Ontario winemakers last year that was pretty good, and doing a scotch tasting next month. This isn't a 5-star LCBO -- that's Summerhill and its brethren. Once you put aside those most precious of jewels, though, this one is a strong play.

I was treated to a sample of craft beer as I entered this LCBO. Free samples? Very nice!! There is a great selection of craft beers in the walk-in cooler room but that's not my focus today. Checkout was efficient and Air Miles Rewards can be collected for each $30 in LCBO purchases each month. My adventure was successful... Cheers!

It's a busy store with some of the clientele that can be a bit rough, but staff here are always super friendly and work quickly. I know that some people aren't crazy about the way The Beer Store (as a corporation) is run, but I think they're pretty good at offering as much variety as possible and they offer delivery of beer to the location if they don't normally have it in stock. I'm always in and out about as fast as I need to be, so no complaints all with this place.

Extremely rude - may be because I did not donate seeing her attitude. The staff used to help by offering a carton if buying a few bottles. They used to put the bottles in the paper bags after cashing out. Today, the lady just took $$ and looked the other way. Not bothering to help at all. Wonder if an owner of the business will ever behave like this and be ready to lose his clientele.

A brand new Beer Store located in the northern part of Brampton (Yay!). This location is located…read morein a brand new mall at Sandlewood and Bramalea and its a little different in design, but for all intensive purposes it is the same Beer Store. In the traditional old style Beer Store, you would look at the different beers and beverages on the wall and then order at the counter. Your selected beer would magically arrive via roller track and you would have to grab it. Now its a lot more user friendly, what was now a behind the scenes operation is now a hands on one. You return your empties in a specific area now and to purchase beer and beverages you enter the "Beer Fridge" area. Here you can access and see all your favorite beers and brews all in a temperature controlled area. Boxes of 24's 12's 6's and even singles are available. This particular Beer Store has an awesome selection of craft beers. They even had my new favorite "Goose Island" (not found in very many stores). The staff are helpful and will help you locate that specific item your looking for. A welcome addition to the neighborhood....4 stars!

Although they may not have as much selection as the LCBO, the staff KNOWS the product and can give personal recommendations based on what you like! Bonus: There are also ALWAYS samples offered there on select products. They've also set up a Wine Tasting area in the back, so it's $8/flight of 4 X 1oz of wines OR $10/flight including a sample of Ice Wine. I've have yet to try this out, but I will as soon as I find a suitable, wine-lovin' friend! Most of my friends don't drink. :( Staff are always friendly! It's very convenient to have a spot where you can buy wine AT the mall.
