Their selection is incredible and very good prices as well. My favourite wine is here, La Vita e Bella, because its 1L for about $20. If you haven't tried this, pick up a bottle! The red is easy drinking for dinner and the white is one of the best pinot grigio I've had in a while. They even stay delicious for 3-4 days easy after it's been opened which doesn't happen with all wines that's for sure! I think it's because they're sustainably made maybe. Anyways, check this place out if you're looking for some new wines to try and if you want some recommendations, DM me! Hahaha I love wine

The Edmonton chapter of a professional organization I belong to organized the event and were kind enough to invite me. My Edmonton friends were fortunate to have ordered a tasting kit with a wee nip of five whiskeys to sip, compare and contrast. Too much international and bureaucratic red tape prevented me from sipping along with them. Steve was a real pro, and entertained us all night with awesome tidbits about the history of whiskey, its aging, legal requirements on ingredients, percentage of alcohol, the different features of barley, corn, millet and rye, casks and barrels, Scotch vs. Bourbon vs. Whiskey vs. Rye vs Peated Whiskey, collectable whiskeys, and Provincial shipping policies. The man was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and tossed out so many one-liners he had us smiling and laughing all night. Seated in front of his store's impressive "Wall of Whiskey", he introduced the night's five drinks - Jack Ryan 12 year old Irish Whiskey, Scotch Tullibardine Whiskey, a Dutch Millstone Rye Whiskey, a Bibb and Tucker Bourbon from the USA, and an Ardberg Single Malt Scotch Whiskey. I had a tremendous time and I loved the way Steve Richmond ended the presentation when he said that someday "we'll meet up again on the Whiskey Trail."

These people really know their booze. Super-tall guy gave me quite an education on scotch a couple of months ago. They always guide me in the right direction and make sure I know about their specials. Today the blonde woman was awesome. I walked in looking for champagne for jello shooters and to put into ice cubes, nothing too pricey. Then I mentioned I was going to top them with cherry jello, and that I should get something cherry flavored. She shows me the Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine! She suggests I throw a little in the jello and garnish it with the cherries that come inside it, which are LOADED with booze! Brilliant! I wouldn't have thought of that myself, and those are gonna be some scary wicked shooters. Everybody who works here is friendly.
