If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. This family-run operation, made up of…read moreowner Sam, his daughter and so called bookkeeper Sunny, and delivery driver Mario, is the last place I would recommend spending your money. All of their fake 5 star reviews are from YEARS ago....there aren't any recent reviews over one star. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and take your business literally anywhere else. In my experience, the mattresses sold here are overpriced and of very poor quality. Some appear to be marked up dramatically compared to what you can find elsewhere. I spent nearly $2,000 on a mattress, and it didn't even last six months before developing serious issues. What makes the situation even more frustrating is the complete lack of support when something goes wrong. Once they've made the sale, don't expect much help. Had I known more about this scammy company, the manufacturer, and the risks involved before purchasing, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Corsicana, the manufacturer of 99% of the mattresses there, filed for bankruptcy-but of course they aren't going to share that information with you. My interactions with the staff left me extremely disappointed. I found the customer service to be dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to take responsibility for resolving legitimate concerns. What should have been a straight forward customer service issue turned into a frustrating and exhausting experience on several occasions. As a customer, I felt ignored, misled, and completely undervalued. After spending that much money, I expected a quality product and professional service. I received neither. This has been one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere that stands behind its products and treats customers with respect.

From our conversation with her, it was clear that she is very knowledgeable about the industry, so her advice was very insightful. I recommended Lisa to my colleagues, and I was told today that she was very satisfied with her service. If any of my friends decide to buy a massage chair in the future, I won't hesitate to introduce them to Lisa. About the massage chair, the one that we purchased was the Panasonic MAN1. We've had it for 3 months and love it so far. Magnificant when it comes to foot massage. This is also the one that my colleague chose to purchase. Great value and deserves every penny spent!

At the first store we visited, we saw and laid on several mattresses from four different manufacturers, including two long-established & well known names. We were on the verge of buying one, but decided it couldn't hurt to first drive over to this Half Price Mattress store that was only about 5 miles away, just to compare the mattresses and prices there. The name of the store had us feeling skeptical, but I had taken note of a highly positive review for them here on Yelp! -- so off we went. We are very glad that we came to this store. We were assisted by Cristina, who was friendly and informative, offering us details about the benefits and differences of the Queen mattresses she had in stock or could order for delivery within a week. We both ended up liking a particular mattress from a company we had not previously heard of, for which the price was about $4K less than the one we had nearly bought at that other store! Completing the purchase was quick and easy, and to our surprise the 3rd-party delivery driver brought it to our house only about 2 hours later that same day, and laid it atop the Ikea bed. All in all, a good experience: a very pleasant interaction with Cristina, and that evening we had our new mattress, plus we had saved a nice chunk of money. I would absolutely recommend making sure that you pay a visit to Cristina at this store when you are comparing mattress comfort levels and prices.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Walker Furniture has been beyond…read moredisappointing. I purchased a couch from the Walker Furniture location at 301 S. M.L.K. Blvd and spent over $2,500 after adding the extended warranty that I was told would cover issues like this. The salesperson who helped me, Katelyn, specifically reassured me that the warranty would take care of problems and that I "wouldn't have to worry." Unfortunately, the quality of this couch has been terrible. The main seat cushion flattened very quickly after purchase. It was replaced once under the manufacturer warranty, but the replacement cushion flattened again within just a couple of months. Now that the issue falls under the extended warranty I paid extra for, I'm suddenly being told it's "not covered." So essentially, I paid for a warranty that was represented as comprehensive, only to find out it does not cover the exact issue it was sold to protect against. A technician was sent out to inspect the couch, and after the assessment I never heard anything back until I followed up myself. What's most frustrating is that my previous couch lasted nearly 10 years without a single cushion issue, yet this significantly more expensive couch has been nothing but problems. For the amount of money spent, the quality is unacceptable and the customer service has been incredibly frustrating. I expected Walker Furniture to stand behind both the product and the warranty that was sold to me, and that simply has not happened. Buyers should make absolutely sure they understand what these "extended warranties" actually cover before spending the extra money.
