Stacie offers a bunch of pop ups throughout the Saint Louis and surrounding areas and I was lucky enough to find her in Eureka at a cute little boutique. I was able to schedule an appointment through her online appointment system which was super easy and when I arrived, she was ready for me. Stacie has so many difference color tinsel to add, but since it was November when I added mine, I wanted to go with rose gold and copper just because those would look good for the holiday season and with my hair color. She attached the tinsel to the root and assured me that they would last for a few months and she was right! Some have probably fallen out by now, but ultimately, I still get so many compliments when people notice the tinsel in my hair. I can style my hair with my usual products and I can use my blowdryer and straightener as needed and they do not impact the shine of the tinsel at all. These tinsel are attached so well and clearly are made to stay in for a while. I can't wait to schedule another time to get more in for Mardi Gras which is coming up soon. I love how she has so many colors to offer so you can easily find a color (or colors) that work for you! Stacie mostly offers her services at a pop up event, but sometimes she does schedule at her home, so you can reach out to her to see what would work best for your schedule.

It had been years since I had stepped foot into a salon for colour treatment so I was definitely nervous. I got the nerve to call and see if they had any appointments for the afternoon and, by golly, they did! It had been written in the stars! Once I arrived, it was such a friendly atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, there's a small check in desk and seating area. Across from the seating area, there's 3 chairs for styling and dyeing. Down the hallway leads to a private rinse area and the other service rooms for manicures and pedicures. I have to say, I was so happy on how clean this salon was and how nicely decorated everything was. The owner really took the time to pay attention to the small details. I was scheduled with Kelly and she was amazing. So personable, and so empathetic about how nervous I was, even if I didn't outright express it. I let her know what my plans were and she got to work. She took the time to explain why she was using the colours that she mixed and that even if it looked darker today, it would fade into my natural, ash blonde-brown. Kelly and House of Style definitely gained a life long client for hair and any other services that I may dabble in the future. Parking is always plentiful, as it's located in a shopping center. The location is located right next to Rich and Charlie's and is easy to find. Right when you walk in there is a small seating area to sit and wait if your stylist isn't ready quite yet. To the right side there is a coffee machine and cookies that patrons are able to help themselves to. There are also bottles of water. Small touches like this make all the difference. On the left hand side there is a row of seats and stations, and on the right hand side there are small studios that have doors and are a bit more private. More towards the back are the drying stations and sinks. The spot is decorated wonderfully and is so cute- love the natural aesthetic. It's warm but not over the top. The seats, drying stations, sinks are all up to date and well taken care of. It's very clean! I enjoy coming here every month. Plus, they have Wi-Fi :)
