I asked Stephanie how many years of experience she had and…read moreshe said over 30 years, so I was impressed and felt like she was going to give me what I wanted. NOT! I asked her for a wolf cut and if she could do it and she said yes! All she did was trim my layers that were already there. The styling after was the worse. She left me looking worse than what I looked like before. My hair was stiff and puffy. Did not use a round brush to blow dry and kept trying to go over it with a flat iron to smooth it out but it wasn't working and my hair started to smell like it was burning. I told her to stop. She clearly didn't know what she was doing. I'm mad that she still charged me and didn't try and make it right. I paid her with a tip and just left out of there so fast. She could of just said she didn't know how to cut wolf cuts and that she didn't know how to style it. The salon is also very tacky and super out dated including old styling tools. Will not reccomend at all. Go somewhere else.

She asked me to sign in and then immediately sat me in her chair. Less than fifteen minutes later I walked out with the fastest and easiest haircut I have ever had. I would definitely recommend you check it out.

Jessica is a waste of your time and money…read more She said a cut and color was 220$. I am from out of town, I am used to paying 120-150$ I was quoted 45$ for a haircut....she charged me 66.95$. When asked for price difference she said it was for " styling ". Seriously Jessica, you took a blow drier and a brush, and you used the curling iron on two pieces of hair. You didn't even used any hair products on my hair after you left the conditioner on for a minute. You didn't style it... I had to go home and finish the job. It's very uncomfortable to argue about the price after she is finished and she knows it. The work is sub standard, my hair is still wet in the back. She didn't bother to let the conditioner on long enough to soak in.. forget about put on heat protection or hairspray. It's work you would expect from a walk-in generic 25$ hair cut shop. Disappointed and over charged.

The whole time wouldn't turn me to the mirror I felt she went to high on the fade and after that I didn't get to look at the mirror till the end and I was in shock! Long story short, it was an ok experience but the stylist wasn't really right for my hair. Since then, I've been back four more times to see a more experienced stylist (the same one all four times) and I love it. I hope to continue seeing her for a very long time. The moral of the story is that there's someone out there for every head of hair. Don't give up on a place just because you don't click (or your hair doesn't) with the first person you see. There are MANY stylists working at Wendell's. Keep trying, and I'll bet you'll find a winner too!
