Lots of consideration and checking to make sure you are happy throughout the cut. Lawrence cut my hair himself, and I got exactly the bald-fade taper cut I wanted on the sides and a ramped up front t with a little mix of military and punk rock spiky-ness. Old-school, personal, shake-"ya"-hand service with a positive, upbeat attitude that is rare these days. Need to knows: First come, first serve, super fast wait in retro-classic parlor, no credit/banking cards (cash only) but Regions bank outdoor atm is a few doors down, half the price of Miami or New Orleans for similar service, style, and results. Bathroom next to waiting parlor. Plenty of streetside parking next to the entrance, safe area, street lighting.

My brother-in-law has been going here for years and always has good haircuts, and so does another friend of mine. Frosch's was highly recommended to me by both of them. Well, my haircut sucked. One side was good, the top of the other side suddenly got a lot shorter, then longer again, like a trench. On the side it had a bunch of points, I would call it jagged. Just totally uneven. I had to get a friend, who does not cut hair, to fix it for me to make it look decent. My friend mentioned that my head is a little bumpy and maybe that's why it was bad, but my old barbershop never had a problem. I would be giving one star but I honestly believe it was a fluke. I heard great things from non-internet sources and saw the work myself over the years. Unfortunately, 0/1 is 0% and I'm not going to take any more chances. If you are considering going here for the first time, I think it's worth a shot.
