Tried two different stylists over a period of three years. The first stylist who did a reasonable…read morejob of cutting my hair left on maternity leave and did not return. The second stylist took a long time getting accustomed to my hair and seemed unsure of herself . Neither stylist was the least bit creative. Neither suggested different hair styles. I would say that they were both mediocre at best. It was though they had only been trained to cut long hair and both made me quite nervous about suggesting a change to what they were used to.

Unprofessional and unhelpful…read more.... Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to have my hair cut after a complete disaster with their bookings desk. I went in person to make an appointment in the afternoon. I was told the next available appointment would be at quarter to 6 with Billy.... when I arrived for my appointment I was told I was late and that Ivy was no longer available to cut my hair as my appointment was at 5.30. Ok - a problem with the booking is fine - but the rudeness and accusation of being late with a certain tone left a sour taste in my mouth. I was told it couldn't have been with Billy as he left at 3 and that I must of got the details wrong...! As this was my first time as this establishment I was not impressed with my treatment as a customer by the front desk and it wasn't till the other hairdresser came down to talk to me that I finally got an apology. What annoys me is they take your phone number down for these sorts of events - but I received no phone call at all from them either. They suggested I re-book with some sort of discount - they were loose on the details - but I was unavailable over the weekend - and also was not wanting to return to a place that I didn't feel welcome. Perhaps they do a great service with your haircut, I wish I could review that as I'm sure they'd do a great job... that is if you can get past the front desk. I don't think I've ever been to a salon quite like it - unwelcoming, unprofessional and unhelpful..... I would avoid if you don't want your time wasted.
