Not only are their prices lower than most of the other beauty salons in the area, but the quality of services is so much better. I have been getting eyelash extensions for the past decade and went to a dozen other salons over the years before I found Beaute Standard. None of the other beauty salons came close. The Beaute Standard is so convenient for me. I work in Linda Vista so it is only like a 5 minute drive. I have even come here during my lunch break for a spray tab one time and made it back to my office with time to spare. Parking is never an issue. Not a bad micro/peel (with April). Good price for a groupon deal. But, I honestly prefer a place with a spa-like feel...dimmer lighting, relaxing music and no back talk amongst employees during my table time. Each micro/peel lasts 15 to 20 mins at the most. I now know these were too short for my liking. RESPONSE TO APRIL: Thanks for the reply!! I thank you for the past services. After the first Groupon deal, I decided to give it a try by purchasing a package of micros (they were well priced). But, even WITH THE ADD ON peel/mask you mentioned, the sessions felt extremely short and rushed, lasting less than 20 mins! So, I completed my package as to not waste money spent. Not having the option to try the other esthetician was a shock and disappointment, too! Ultimately I was looking for a thorough micro with a peel add on. I recently found a spot/esthetician who gives amazing peels, micro, face massage, cleanse and customized attention....lasting usually a whole hour for $45 or with a Groupon deal, it's less. A-Ok I think is accurate. I bought a package of microdermabrasian treatments. These were the fastest treatments that I have ever had... They all seemed to take maybe 15 minutes. When I've had it elsewhere, it was usually double the time. Don't get me wrong, my skin felt good after, but I just felt like I was a number. UPDATE- Check out the vindictive response I received. My review wasn't even bad. A Ok means not great, not bad. Nearly all my reviews are 3 stars and up so I don't quite understand her response? I'll stick to just going to a med. spa. At first I started coming to the girls at Effortless for lashes. LOVE the lashes, literally effortless, no mascara and I love how easy my morning make up routine is! Then I started seeing Jenny for my problematic adult acne and some scarring/pigmentation. Absolutely can not say enough about my skin! I feel so much more confident without makeup.
