I spent over $400 for this "repair" and they only patched it with material that isn't allowed to be used, and did not service the line correctly according to industry standards. Not only that, they broke my garden shovel while digging up the dirt and when I requested a refund, they read my message and left it on read instead of reaching out for a solution or reimbursement. Ronnie has low prices but that's the end of the good news. He took 34 days to do my 18x20 driveway…read moreand a 16x22 slab. I hired him to do my 12x34 patio slab and it went well so I hired him for a bigger project a few days later. Each day he showed up he was asking for another 4, 5, or 6 grand. He was at the 90% mark of the $32K quote and still hadn't done the driveway yet. The dumpster company that he contracted to put the old concrete in called me and said they were putting a lien on my house because he refused to pay them after they'd hounded him. I wonder if he ever paid for the concrete delivery or will I have an additional $4,000 lien to deal with? I told him about the lien and he assured me he was taking care of it. Nope. The dumpster company thinks I'm giving them the run around, still demanding $400 on top of my incomplete job that I now have to pay someone else thousands to finish. In 29 days he was at my house just 7 days and never more than about 5 hours per trip. He removed the driveway and framed it out but then I waited weeks for the concrete. He constantly had 'relatives' with emergencies (some out of town) that required him to vanish for days on end, always right after I gave him another $5K. He's fine for small jobs but don't do anything over 12x30 or you'll be hearing the stories. The dumpster driver sent me a text where he told the dumpster company he was so broke he could only put down 3 to 4 inches of concrete instead of the 6 inches he said he was putting down. He told me several times "they all crack, just get used to it". I should have checked the BBB site for complaints because there were several. All the BBB complaints read the same: incomplete or improper jobs that he refuses to correct or refund. After seeing all the complaints here and elsewhere I doubt I'll get my $6,000 back for the work he didn't do even if I take him to court. Serial scam artist, apparently the concrete guys are not required to be licensed or bonded so there's no recourse to get satisfaction with the county/city/state and they know it. I tipped each member of his crew any time they actually worked more than a couple hours and even bought all 10 of them lunch. Can't believe this guy is still in business, he showed up late the last day when I told him not to come back that someone else was doing the rest of the job and he said "I sure wish you would've told me that before I bought this $200 worth of supplies", as if I had put him in a bad financial way somehow. That showed me he still had no awareness or understanding of how bad the situation was at all. 12 sunny cloud free days in that span without anyone showing up at all, no answer to calls or texts or explanation as to why they didn't show. Buyer beware.

Dillon and I had connected several years ago regarding a massive landscaping project for my home,…read morewhich was to occur after some construction work. After a few years, we connected again, after I also obtained several other quotes. Dillon by far, was the most visionary and patient person to work with. This project took several weeks to complete, which was expected. Basically, it was a complete tear out and rebuild of my yard, patio, decking, front porch and walk, with plenty of pavers, plants and sod. Dillon and his team were outstanding in every way. In all of my years, and houses, I have never worked with a contractor that was as easy as Dillon and his team. I actually consider them my project team. We worked together as a team to make my dream come true. My home looks better than expected. Their diligence and eye for detail is second to none. Pricing was quite reasonable. Not to mention, they are a full service organization. I did not have to sub out to others for tear out, irrigation, low voltage electric, hard and soft scape, gas fire pit, flagpole, and more! They were able to do it all and beautifully. My only wish is that Dillon and his crew could perform the weekly maintenance and house projects! I am proud of my home and my partnership with Dillon and his crew! Thank you!!!

I hired A Cut Above in April 2026 for their Premium Lawn Care Plan at $481/month to maintain my…read morelate parents' home in Pensacola while it was on the market. The plan includes per-visit weed control, bed maintenance, string trimming, and edging. By August, neighbors sent me photos: grass growing up through the fence pickets, no edging along the walks, and beds full of mature, seeded-out weeds. All of that is work the plan covers on every visit. This wasn't a missed week. It was weeks of mow-and-go while I was billed for full service. What happened when I raised it is the real reason for this review: - Aug 11: Emailed photos. Got an apology within minutes and a promise of a site visit that Thursday. No one came. - Aug 14: Emailed to ask if the visit happened. No response. - Called and left a voicemail. Someone called back and promised it would be handled by Monday. Monday came and went. - It took a fourth contact before a crew finally came out and did the work properly, two weeks after my first complaint. No credit, no discount, no acknowledgment for months of substandard service. When I cancelled at closing, I was charged another ~$120 to close out the account. When a crew finally came out, they did what the plan required, and everyone I spoke with was polite. But polite promises that don't happen aren't service. If you can't be on-site to check the work yourself, I'd think twice.
