We dined here on our second night after the b&b recommended it to us. To be safe we booked a table.
The entire decor was all wooden like being inside a ship and outside you can see the sea.
Looking at the menu they offer your own personalised fish. First choose what type (I had monkfish) then choose what crumb you want it encased in or sauce. I was tempted to go for the chorizo crumb but went for the Cajun butter..then choose your side..i had the mustard mash.. while we waited on that I sampled the chowder while others shared some pitta bread, fish cakes, pork belly and camembert. All of which were stunningly presented with flavours to match.
The monkfish was a decent portion for £16 I'm used to getting a sliver. I made everyone try it was too good to be missed. Every one else had haddock, sea bass and lemon sole all tasting fresh.
To finish I just ordered a liquer coffee also very tasty.
Overall if you love seafood come here (they do offer steak, veggie dishes and meaty things too. ) services was also very bantered and lovely. read more
