On a whim I called on Saturday morning for a Sunday delivery and Corrie was able to accommodate plus the cost of the balloons was very reasonable (almost a quarter of what other places were charging). I made a mistake thinking the house was closer but Corrie and I figured it out and she still made the delivery on a Sunday afternoon! I'd highly recommend teacups and trucks!

We first learned of Teacups &…read moreTrucks when attending a friends birthday party at her impossibly cute and fun location in Mount Pleasant. We then found out she has a program called Mom's Morning Out from 9:30 to 12:30 three days a week for ages 2 to 4. My son has been attending for a month and I cannot say enough about how impressed we are with the program. The instructor, Patrice is so involved and thoughtful about the content of the classes. It is not just a place to drop your kids for a few hours, it is really well organized and structured, but in a natural and creative environment. My son is even learning Spanish and yoga! The class size is small, and the cost is very reasonable for the quality of the program. I highly recommend the Mom's Morning Out program to any mom looking for a preschool-type program in Mount Pleasant.

I first heard about the Blair Center For The Arts when I was admiring a piece of art at a gallery…read moreon Sullivan's Island. The artist was Silvia Belviso Blair and I was informed that she provides private art lessons. Relatively new to the world of painting and stuck on a particular commission piece, I signed up for a class from Silvia. I was not disappointed. She is fantastic. In the hour that she spent with me, I learned so many useful tips that I continue to use on a very regular basis. She is patient, thoughtful with her instruction, and just a very talented artist. I decided to take an oil painting class from Silvia shortly thereafter. Having just moved, it was so nice to have the two locations (Mt. Pleasant and West Ashley) to choose from. Once again, Silvia's instruction did not disappoint and I have now transitioned from using mostly acrylics to working mostly in oils now. The classes were mellow and my fellow classmates were a lot of fun - so much so that nobody paid attention to the time and Silvia was gracious enough to let us stay past our designated hour and a half if we chose to. The classes range from beginner/basic to very unique and I can't wait to explore them further. If you have a creative itch, I highly recommend the Blair Center!

GAC consistently coaches multiple athletes from barely walking toddler age to helping their athletes achieve collegiate success and scholarships. Our daughter has been with GAC and coaches for 18 months now and we would have never imagined the energy, time, consistency and the winning mentality that is present day in and day out here. We are so grateful how much they've poured into her and how it's paid off. While we do believe our daughter brings a lot of passion, and drive etc ...there is no doubt that her skills and confidence has been amplified because she is surrounded by such a committed owner, who empowers all her coaches which then trickles down to the athletes.
