End to a week long stay here. Americano with cranberry scones! Food is decent as I had few meals…read morehere for convenience. Service is mediocre although the lady who helped me this morning made up for it with her attentiveness and smile. Friendly service makes a world of a difference! Ambiance is very modern&nice with a lot of seating. Some menu items offered 24 hrs. Also, nice selection of popular Indian dishes.

Do not be surprised that I'm giving it 5-stars for the first review. I loved my food here…read more I was back in the UK for my graduation and my parents were staying at the Holiday Inn where this restaurant is located and so we went here for a spot of lunch. Absolutely delicious. When we entered it was quite noisy as a conference group was just finishing up but before we knew it they had left and it was quiet. Like most restaurants in the UK these days the wait-staff is mostly foreign and although they might have a little trouble understanding you, patience is due; they are friendly and absolutely fabulous at what they do. The menu is nice with a good range of options. They gave us a selection of breads to start, all excellent (I was hungry so I tried them all) and our appetizers followed shortly. To start I had the scallops, moist, a good size and lovely. For my main meal I had the "Pork 2-ways". Which was really Pork 4 ways. It included medallions of tenderloin, pork belly, bacon and crackling over a bed of pasta (check out the picture I uploaded). Delicious, very filling to the point that if you ever have a last pork meal ever, this should be it. It is on the pricier side but this restaurant isn't pretending to be pricey like some might do. Give it a try if you want a nice meal out. Bonus: clean bathrooms are always a plus.

It has been a while since I went to the Poachers due to it being under refurbishment yet again. This is a sorry state of affairs as I really do like this pub for a number of reasons. The pub itself is semi-adjoined to the Best Western Moathouse, tucked away in the back, it is a grade 2 listed building, having previously been a mill house with a low ceiling, striped with beams, given it a very rustic feel. Sports fans are catered for, flat screen TVs show the current popular sporting event, which is in sharp contrast to the rest of the look and feel of the pub. There is also an outdoor seating area with a reasonable amount of tables and parasols. There is a more formal dining area in the Sindlesham Mill Restaurant which serves the Hotel. The menu had chanegd since I last went there, and I opted for a chicken burger as I had popped out of work for lunch and wanted something quick and easy. I was not in the slightest bit disappointed, it was probably the best chicken burger I have had as far as I can remember, I'd actually say it was a griddled seasoned chicken breast, served with a salad on a soft flour roll. The chips were more like potatoes roasted i goose fat. So quite a surprise all round. I'm glad the pub is open again, I'll probably be there for lunch on Friday :)

We had a curry and I went for a hamburger and chips. Portions were good and if you like football they have a massive screen to watch it live. The food is ok but nothing special but it is clean. Would I go there again? Probably not, but if I am in the area and want to go and have a pint and something to eat yes I would,
