I would NOT recommend The Battery Guy. I had them come to my home to install new batteries for my golf cart, and they fried my golf cart. They have told me on several occasions that they would make things right......the only problem is that they blew me off 2 times and will not return calls. Unfortunately I will be having to file a claim with the Illinois State's Attorneys office so I can get reimbursed the cost of repair that they created. read more

Got a set of 6 volt refurbished batteries for my golf cart from these guys 8 years ago. They are finally starting to get weak so I just got another set. You can't beat these refurbs if you are on a budget and they definitely last! read more

This is a great shop hidden on route 72 in Gilberts near the gas station. They have a large selection of batteries for cars, trucks, boats, snowmobiles, etc. My car battery died one morning, after calling the typical auto parts stores and either being quoted $179 or having to special order it, I called the Battery Guy in Gilberts. They had 3 options to choose from, including a used one for around $35!!! I drove over after getting a jump, bought the used one, and they even installed it for me. The new option was around $100 which was way less than any parts store around including Walmart, but my car is older and it was nice to find even lower priced options. If you need a battery in this area check out this shop! Not a fancy place, but great value and service. read more
