Tuckered pup from a long day of play!
    Alicia S.

My puppy is a solid 8 months old and is the light of my life, but that light get's pretty exhausting at times while I'm trying to work from home! Often, I feel bad because 2 walks a day just doesn't cut it for my high energy dog and he'll stare sadly out the window for hours. Luckily The Bark Park is nearby and seems to be the best option nearby for my pup! Usually, I'll take my dog here 1-2 times a week for a half day. Their half day price is $12 a is a few dollars cheaper than most doggie daycares. And, oh boy, is that half day worth every penny. I can hardly contain my dog's excitement as we pull up to the park- he once tried to jump out of the window as soon as we pulled in! There's usually a full house and it can be a bit overwhelming for me, but my dog loves it! The best part is that when I come to pick him up he's super tired and ready for a night of rest. All that running keeps him in great shape, too! The actual indoor portion of the daycare is fairly small, but the dogs always have an indoor/outdoor option and the outdoor running area is huge! All fenced in and some areas are isolated for shy or anxiety stricken dogs. My dog has never had any issues with other dogs there. A bonus is their drop-off service. I was out of town one day and my dogs other guardian wouldn't be getting off work until a few minutes after Bark Park's closing time... For a few dollars more, a BP employee conveniently dropped our dog off right at our door! Thanks for being awesome Bark Park.

Could not find the park. Is it still in operation? No signage. Maybe it was Google maps fault. Waste of time with eager dog in tow

There has been swimming, dock diving, agility training, ball chasing, running, playing and so many new friends. For us Meadow Run has bathing stations right in the club house which means we can take our stinky girls directly from the lake to the tub and then home - no mess to clean up. The community of not only dogs, but humans who love and care for their dogs at Meadow Run has added to our lives in the most positive way possible. During the worst of the Covid pandemic Meadow Run was closed, they opened gradually with strict guidelines in place and now they are open and asking people to social distance and wash hands. People are responsible and respectful and the dogs are always happy. It is well worth the membership.

He growled a short. growl and got out of the situation It happend with a black wolf like dog. The vet said it was completely normal. Also.the staff needs to listen to both sides of a complaint and if there are more complaints from a single person consider what they are upset about!! I have found a really nice smaller dog park in Kalamazoo. There isn't the stress of Meadow run. There's a centralized area where people and dogs socialize with plenty of benches so people can sit and watch their dogs easily. There are objects like trees, benches and a fire hydrant to help get a visual on area to look to pick up poop bags available ! The park isn't enormous so dogs disappear! People are very friendly. It's great!!

If you are looking for a dog park with a lot of land, water available (minus the winter months),…read moreand fenced in, this dog park is highly recommended. An important note is that there are two parks here. There is a small dog park and the large one. The rest of this review is for the big dog park: There is a two tier fencing system, where you can open one gate, take your dog in, take the leash off, and then let them run into the park. There are also poop bags in this area, and it is expected that you pick up after your dog. It has two major parts, one being flat and where most people will hang out. There are benches for people to sit and hose water for the dogs. On the other side, there is a small hill with trees in which squirrels live, so some dogs like to chase them from tree to tree. There are also chairs throughout, so you don't have to be by people unless you want to. Due to the large size, it may take some time to get to your dog if you need to so keep that in mind and stay close to your dog if you are worried they could get into trouble. Overall, I highly recommend this dog park to anyone with energetic dogs that like to run!

Nonetheless, this park has incredible views and offers decent fishing opportunities off of two extended docks, one of which features a large covered gazebo with benches. The playground area here looks legit, and my partner and I always enjoy stopping for a break here when we do a 9-mile cycling route that basically wraps around Austin Lake plus an extra mile each way to access the route from where we live. As with Long Lake, the boat launch is at a completely separate location from the park. Unlike Ramona Park, there is no charge to park at Lakeside Park. We are super excited at the prospect of all the cycling routes in the Vicksburg and Portage area connecting soon. Work got underway on connecting the Vicksburg path into Portage early last year but was halted due to the pandemic. So happy to have a little bit of spring-like weather this week to get out and celebrate all the wonderful natural spaces in our community.

There's also a small trail where you can exercise too. Don't worry, there are a couple of picnic areas for you and your family to bbq and enjoy the serenity of the beautiful lake. The parking lot has lights so when you leave the park at sunset, you won't be walking in the dark to your car.
