We needed to find a last minute pet sitter and stumbled across Lisa online. We lucked out. She…read moreruns a business out of her home called The Pet Sitta. Our dog stayed at her house for a week and had the time of his life in her 1 acre fenced in back yard. It is a dream place for dogs! Lisa was extremely easy to communicate with, super flexible with our last minute plans, and at $50/night, I found her rates to be reasonable. She clearly loves pets, yet isn't one of these dopey pet people who just gets googley eyed over your furry friend. Instead, she is great with pets and people, super responsible, and really cares about what she is doing. She made our dog feel like a part of her home. She texted us pictures of him on walks and at a family picnic at a lake. She could have easily left him at home but intead included him in her plans, which was great. I'm not someone who would even think to ask or want pictures of our dog while we are away, but we eneded up loving them because we could clearly see he was so happy. If all people could run a business in this fashion, oh how our lives would be easier!

Enrollment, including uploading health and safety data as well as scheduling the time that we needed to have our pup in their care, could not have been smoother. We did a test run two days before the wedding for 4 to 5 hours and agreed that if we didn't want to be at the wedding so badly we would spend the day at happy Tails! Whitaker was quickly noted to be a "good boy ". We returned on Saturday early in the morning and left him in good hands until the pick up at closing time on the same day. Everyone was happy and we wonder should we move to Portland in order to use this wonderful doggy daycare? We have had frightening health care crisis situations come up through the years a few times with our aged pups (which had absolutely nothing related to the care they were receiving btw) that warranted an urgent care situation with the emergency clinic. The last being a tooth abscess that decided to appear the day after dropped off our girls (yes we felt like horrible parents). Never a hesitation for the owners to treat our girls with the same dedication they have for their own dogs. Jill and Gary have taken our girl to the Vet one year instead of celebrating Jill's birthday that night as planned. (We were blown away) One year an employee went completely above and beyond every expectation by picking up medication, and giving some very specialized care at her own time and expense (all coordinated by Jill and Gary). Utterly amazing. Who does this anymore? CBW does, thanks to incredibly sincere and loving people. The facility is clean, well maintained, and transparent. Our dogs literally PULL us in the door! The cameras have always been our bonus. We enjoy watching our girls when they are staying, which makes us feel less lonely (not them~they're playing with the other doggie daycare pack) I am telling you as an over protective obsessed pup parent, we would never trust any other group or facility with our girls...and we wish that for every other pup and parent looking for the care all dogs deserve.

No balls either (he hates dogs with balls so this is great). The staff is great. Daycare is easy to book but most often we just drop in. The hours are pretty decent Monday through Friday. They are closed on holidays and weekends but you can go to their other location off of Forest ave (allows bigger dogs but segregates them as they have more space). They run specials on multiple visit punchcards on occasion. On rainy days the dogs are inside but most of the time they're allowed to play outside. The most important thing is that my dog loves it here and that he is safe outside of my care. One million stars.

I would recommend Elsa. She is reliable, a fast communicator, backs up her training with research articles, and shows obvious knowledge in dog training.
