There is plenty of wood throughout, but enough steel to give it more of a trendy feel. They offer massages, manicures, and there are pedicure and hair dye stations tucked away, so if you require those services, you're not parading through in front of all the guys getting their hair cut in the 8 or 10 seats in the center of the shop. My stylist was very personable, but not like the "fake" nervous chat you get from someone who just graduated. You can get in and out within 20 minutes or so, and they really do a great job. The cuts can be pricey ($25 or more), but since it was opening week, they knocked it down to $18. Definitely going back. I want to keep my man-card, so I'm still on the fence with the massage and the pedicure, but I'm all in for another cut!

Now this was only the second time I had been there, I didn't know their hours of operation, I figured, door open, store open. So when I walk in there's a small man cutting hair. He looks at me, and I ask if it's ok to do a walk-in....seemed reasonable. He then explains to me, like I was just dropped off by the short bus outside, how they're not open yet. He does offer to make me an appointment, but is rude the entire time. I make the reservation for later in the day, but an appointment prevents me from making it, and I have to say, I wasn't too broke up about it. Several months go by. I need a cut, and decide to give them another shot. This time I'll save myself the blood pressure boost, and call ahead for an appointment first. So I call, same rude M**F answers the phone. He first just seems extremely inconvenienced at having had to answer the phone. But then he's just such a.....well you know. He starts asking me about the type of cut I want, I tell him I just want a regular haircut. He asks me who I want to cut my hair, and has such a condescending tone, as if I should know the names of every barber that works there. I didn't know the name of the girl that cut my hair the first time until I went to their website to look up their info to post here. Needless to say, I made an appointment, but never went because after I got off the phone, I was convinced that if I went there and had to talk to that D**K I would go to jail. Bottom line, I had a decent cut by Debbi once, and krappy staff (the same guy) ruined the rest for me.
