We've been going sparingly as a last resort for 4 years. We would book with the same barber my son liked and land up with a new trainee/barber when we got there because they overbook. I've even seen people who have been waiting with appointments be bumped for more favored clients. This last visit will be our last. My son asked for change for a $10 in order to tip, but the barber pretended like she didn't understand. On top of that, she cut it the way she wanted to even though my son showed pictures of high and tight on the sides. This happens all the time. I've been coming here for years. Specifically, because of how attentive the owner is to coaching her team on the little things. You see, I have a beard I cherish enough to have it maintained at the pro level. Any artist at this establishment I know I can trust because I've tried them all...just in case I'm in a pinch for a work event and can't wait for an appointment. Anyway, enough about me. This is all about this barber shop. Dude. Go! Today, was the best experience yet. I know they book up fast so I usually show up when they open at 9am (closed on Sundays). Today I got there at 917am and there was a waiting list. Never fear the waiting list here...it's very well worth the wait. I didn't wait long because they are all so efficient. This haircut and shave was very important to me today because my girlfriend was coming into town on Sunday and I like to make sure I have a little more "lived in growth" of the beard after a trim. Holy smokes, folks! This was another remarkable experience and I'm so happy...so was my girlfriend after I send her the photo of results! Just showed up for my appointment with James that I made with him earlier this week. I sat down in the chair when Jenny (owner) came over and told they booked other people for the same time. She showed me the schedule and my name was clearly there but they had stuck in 2 kids as well. She asked me to wait but I scheduled this specificly so I could make my Dr appointment right after. Why is it that the lady with the 2 kids bump me when we were both booked? I would have waited OF I didn't have the doctor appointment. I am super pissed as I drove 40 minutes to get here amd even waiting for 30 min I the parking lot so as to not go in too early. Will never come back! read more

Got a really, really bad haircut here. I mean, like, not at all what I asked for. I even showed a photo of what I wanted and the haircut was nothing like the photo. I would add photos of the abomination that they made of my hair but I don't even want to look at it for the second it takes to take a photo. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're asking for a really simple haircut, but even then make sure to be very clear about what you want. read more

Fairly expensive for the services they offer. Most likely due to high rent. I can easily find a better haircut for 1/4th of the price and a better shave for half. I recommend the cheaper of the two shave options. You're more likely to receive a closer cut and the more expensive option is done with a standard razor, so nothing requiring real precision worth the price unless you're desperate to have a hot towel on your face. I went as a walk-in. Was given an appointment in 30 minutes. Did a ship at the supermarket across the street. Ty Song did my beard and hair which involved the hot towel, neck and temples massaged. I called an hour ahead and made an appointment for 3:30. We arrive at 3:20 and wait our tune. The barber lady Jenny walks up to my son and I and says "you guys will wait little bit" and then proceeds to call her client on the phone at the front desk to ask where are you? Instead of helping people that are on time for their appointments. She waits 15 mins for a late client. My son did not get back until 4pm.
