The Barber's Lounge - Custom hair design - Barbers Near Me - Yuma, Arizona

Hubby found his favorite Yuma barber at The Barber's Lounge. Alejandra does an amazing job trimming his beard, mustache & shaving his head. She truly understands what he wants & likes & delivers excellent customer service every time. The Lounge is perfectly comfortable, all the staff members are friendly & conversations flow freely even for those sitting & waiting their turn or waiting for someone getting a service done (me sitting there waiting while hubby gets his trim) Looking for a great barber check them out. read more

Was recommended to try this place by the bartender at the broken yoke. 1:45 Walk in greeted by the gentleman, waited for about 15 mints, but wasn't informed we needed to put out name on the board. So after relaxing what was needed out our names in the board, a couple names before ours maybe 4. About 2:20 one of the barbers mentions a second location, so a bunch of people get up, and I'm assuming trying that location. There is one barber(right room, most left chair) cutting hair getting them in and out, now I'm not one to rush someone on their craft, but you'd think if there are several over customers waiting for a service you'd do you best to get to them. Nope.... It's 3:31 haven't been seated for a haircut yet...we left. Also I'm sure there is a way to make an appointment, however I'm not sure how. read more

The barber that gave me a cut clearly doesn't know the difference between a medium and high fade bc on one side the fade is a nice medium fade which is exactly what I asked for and the other side is a high fade with a drop read more

Initial Impresion: Hidden small plaza behind...another establishment. I did not even know it existed. Employees were nice, looks like a place for gentleman to hang out & play pool... while they wait to get their haircut. Pros: They were open past 1:00 on a Saturday & you don't have to have an appointment. They also take Visa... "Yay"... They even recommended an appointment so that we wouldn't have to wait that long. They have a pool table to keep yourself entertained. Haircuts are about a 20-25 min... which is great. Cons: Minimal parking, not enough seating inside, restroom is soo tiny & was not clean. Overall Experience: We walked in & were greeted by one gentleman. He was nice & guided me to the board to schedule an appointment so we wouldn't have to wait. "Awesome"....We came back & my don was taken in right away. Thw haircut was great.... I would have liked it maybe an inch longer on the top but we'll save that for next month. Definitely coming back again. Its hard to find a barbershop in town that takes Visa or any card ... that doesn't take 1 hour to cut hair. Barbershops in town close early on the weekend & No barbershops are open on Sunday's... i have no idea why someone won't break the mold in town.... read more

"I took my son in to get a hair cut, mind You he is autistic and very sensitive to the noise but they made him feel safe and they were able to cut Jo's hair the way he wanted, what a blessing." read more

This place is the shit! Excuse my language but man this place is awesome. I am a Marine stationed here in Yuma (like 90 % of the people) and could not find a barber good enough to cut my hair, until now. Louii takes haircuts as an art form. He is very picky about about his lines and takes his time. Perfection. His shop is under-construction and he looks to expand. He is well on his way to becoming the best shop in Yuma. read more

Jose S. was my barber. He has a steady hand and cleans up his clients well. I also noticed that he always sanitizes his items and takes his time. He has my business read more

A fellow Marine on base recommended this shop to me, as I was only in town for a few days and unfamiliar with the area. I waked in and was immediately seated by Zach. His fade and razor lineup is honestly one of the top five haircuts I've ever received in my life (and I'm 40). Ask for Zach when you go. I'm happy I have a spot to go to the next time I'm in town. read more

The place has a good lil vibe but my hair came out wack as fuck. Made me look like a thumb foreal...should have known when his clippers where pulling the whole time and sprayedd it down with wd40 like ten times and defiantly should have known cuz his hair game was fucked up!!! The guy after me was next and i tried to give him that look to gtfo well you still have a chance!!! Never again. read more

They had me wait for two hours and then kicked me out because they said they were closing don't come here!

Trying to take my son out to have a nice father-son time and get a haircut. Left after hearing the N-word about 20 times as well as every other swearword in the loud music videos they have constantly play. I get trying to have a cool atmosphere but there's a line. read more

My son and I have been going to The Barber's Lounge for the last couple of years, and every barber we have worked with has been super solid- never had a bad experience. LA was able to fit us in last minute today and got us freshened up just in time for the school year! Only place in town as far as we are concerned. Much appreciated as always read more

This shop is very unprofessional. It deserves zero stars. I was a walk-in and wrote my name on the white board. I was greeted by one barber and he said that they'll get me when they can, which as a walk- in it's understandable. I waited for 45 minutes and the barber that greeted me left and said that the barber next to him was going to cut my hair because he had to leave. So I waited another 10 minutes. Then I see the barber that was supposed to cut my hair turn his booth lights off. I told him as he was walking away from his chair, " Hey, weren't you supposed to cut my hair? " and he just stared at me and said that " He didn't know he was supposed to cut my hair." Then he asks another barber that was cutting if they could cut me after they were done with their client. The only barber that was left cutting told me to go to another shop to get my cut. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time coming here. Sorry ass excuse for a barbershop. read more

Plan on waiting a loong time! Haircut was pretty good. Not the best I have ever had but you cant walk into any barber and ask for a bald fade without getting your head butchered. 2 hours start to finish. Place smells funny not to clean. They do have a pool table and tv to kill time but I can watch tv at home. Prob wouldn't go back I have better things to do then sit at a barber all day. read more

The place is legit if you want to get faded up! Didn't have to wait long. Haircut was $15, I'm used to paying $20 so definitely worth it. Would cut my hair again here. read more

Never really had a chance to experience the place. I went 2 hours before closing and there was someone cutting hair but the door was locked. I felt embarrassed and thought "Mabye it's appointment only" so I called them from the parking lot and the lady inside hit the end button on the phone. Idk if the lady was having a bad day but it honestly leaves a bad taste in my mouth read more

Amazing barbers, great times of operation and they do both walk in and appointments. As far as wait times, I think it's safe to say that if you want a good fresh haircut at a local spot and not whack ass Supercuts...you're gonna wait. The owner is a very solid individual, he will do right by the customer. They play up to date hip hop, so if you are sensitive because you don't want JR to listen to bad words than earmuff him. Great environment, talented barbers, they offer other services other than haircuts so if you need your beard to look darker, eyebrows need some TLC or need to clear that acne with a face mask...Barbers Lounge is the place to go. read more

Best place in town to get your haircut. When everyone else is closed on a Sunday, The Barbers Lounge is open. Serving and treating customers right. I don't even have to ask what I want anymore. My boy Louii knows just how I want my cut. Every barber takes the time to get to know their clients and we all become part of a family. Much better then those "Barbershop" movies with Cedric the entertainer read more

Best barbershop in Yuma. Great atmosphere, lounge complete with a pool table and barbers who care about the cut they give you. They do after hours cuts and house calls. Louii and the team always keep you looking fresh. read more

Good Vibes and everything but this the place is if you want a medium fade expect for a high fade. Also to include the price you pay, I'm not sure if it's just each individual barber that charges for their service but my 4 times there it's has all been different prices. First time I was charge 21$, 2nd time I was charged 16$, 3rd time I was charged 20$ and my 4th time I was charged 15$ and I remind you all have been different barbers and this was literally week after week, and to also include tip. Today was my last day ever going their. Highly disappointed literally and I'm in the military which in some cases some guys actually care on how theirs looks and don't want looking like boot with a high fade‍. Nice people honestly but, just the haircuts. read more

Pretty good place, good haircuts a little pricy but quality cuts. Only been there once but I got my haircut right when I got there.

This barber shop is where to go. All the staff are nice and friendly. I've been going here since I moved to Yuma and my son and I go here every week. They do great work and leave you satisfied with your haircut. I couldn't ask for a better Barbershop. Every time family or friends are here I recommend them to Barber lounge for a fresh cut. read more
