Came to get a haircut been here many times before they usually do a good job but today they absolutely butchered my hair and beard. Been trying to grow my hair out asked for a combover and I don't even know what kind of haircut I got it was so messed up. Beard was even worse. While visiting Yuma for a couple months I visited this barbershop quite frequently. The Barbershop was located about 5 minutes from the Air Station and my barber every time was Leah S. (there's a few Leahs). Every time I went I called first to make sure she was there because quite frankly I thought she was the best barber there even though she's the youngest. I had a few friends get cuts from the other women and the fades were uneven and had pretty distinctive lines. The receptionist was very polite and welcomed all the customers as they came in. They have a dated system (names on a notepad) vice tickets or numbers but it seems to work so "if its not broke, why fix it". I would definitely come again. read more

I only get my hair cut once or twice a year because I like it long. As I age and it is thinning I thought I would get it cut short. I have heard of the Man Cave but never tried it. I like to stay with the same person if possible. I'm so glad I went there. I walked in and was greeted with a hello and a smile. Stephanie was available right away. She new what type of hair cut matches with your face type which I think was impressive. From there on I let her do her thang. Let me tell you I love to talk with intelligent women and she knows a thing or two about a thing or two. Great conversation and at the end a great hair cut and it wasn't too short. Greeted pretty fairly and felt welcome by the receptionist (don't know her name) but that's where the good news ends. Girls cutting hair were more focused on another customer and the football game than cutting mine and my nephews hair. I got a 1 on the sides with medium high fade but after getting home I noticed there is barely a fade in the back. I've literally had my hair cut better in Afghanistan... My lil nephew got a faux hawk which I could have cut better myself and actually did when I fixed it later. Friendly place but horrible hair cutting... I heard their ad on KTTI radio, so I thought I could give them a try. Outstanding customer service here! Greeted with sincerity when I entered, and then she told me there is a 40 minute wait. With this many customers in here, it has got to be good I thought. Found a good magazine, and prepared to wait for my turn. The owner is here. . .cleaning the door glass. She has walked around greeting everyone. This includes the two young kids playing on the Xbox. Only took about 15 minutes and I was in a chair. "Number 3 on the sides and back, over the ear. And take half the length off the top. Blend the sides to the top", I said. It was quick, and exactly what I wanted. She spun me around, used a mirror so I could see the back and sides. I knew what a great cut I had before I left. It's clear that they took the past negatives to heart and made the adjustments needed back in 2013. Great cut, great price, great staff. The only positive thing that there is to be said about this barber shop is the facility, and equipment is very clean and pretty new and a few of the barbers are awesome. On another note the barber shop is ran very poorly on the weekends. I have been a few times during the week and it was great, but Saturdays and Sundays the barbers would rather talk for an hour to each customer then cut hair. The average wait is 30 min to an hour and a half today. They allow people to call in to get on the list before showing up. Horrible customer service read more

Just got the worst haircut ever. I can't name any names otherwise I would as opposed to just throw dirt on the whole place. Just be aware you can walk into this place and walk out unhappy. The barber was nice and all but my hair cut was clearly off. I didn't notice it right away because of how my hair was styled when I left. But after cleaning up properly and restyling, I was immediately frustrated because I could not make the same part on either side of my head without clearly seeing that my hair is very uneven. There's a certain level of professionalism you should be able to expect when you pay someone for a service. With any good fortune the manager will inform all of their barbers to slow down and pay attention. Bottom line, be professional and do the job you are paid for. I went there today hoping for a cheaper place to get a haircut. i pull up and the first thing i see is the window displaying "Cash Only" so i left to get cash out (back to base since there was no ATM near by.) and come back, It has the set up of a nice relaxing place, a TV with what looked like video games at a glance in the back, up front they had a billiards table with chairs along the wall for a waiting area, seems great if you had to wait.. anyways i got called up fast to get my haircut, the lady didn't seem at all interested and seemed like she wanted out fast. no hello or nothing just "How do you want your cut?" not at all a big deal for me, but left enough for a terrible impression of the place. While cutting my hair i see her eyes trail off a lot, and carry conversations with other barbers and customers, so i watched the TVs they have set next to the chairs, or i would've if i wasn't being spun around like a carousel the whole time. In 30 minutes they only finished 2 haircuts, the women although very nice and attentive to customers seemed to talk more than cut hair. There were still 3 people ahead of me when i decided to walk out after 40 minutes. I wasn't expecting to be in and out super fast, but being in the military, you get used to the barber shops that get the job done quickly and do a great job. I didn't care to hear the stylists whole life story. Sad thing is that this place seemed like a great place, was clean, organized and friendly staff. I never got to rate their haircuts though. Went to the barber right across the marine corps base and both my son and I were out in 15 minutes and were 150% satisfied with both haircuts!!! So got a message from Cindy based off of another review for a competing business and decided to try them out. Nice sized barbershop that caters to the guys with TVs, pool table and a X-Box. Got in and was greeted right away and then waited. The place had more than a few waiting and would say I waited a little over 20 min before getting into the chair. Once in, sat in Marissa's chair, she was nice and easy to talk to. Told her needed about a medium fade and some off the top. Once done, looked in the mirror and I thought it looked good. No styling done so couldn't tell how well the cut was. Once I was able to throw some water through my hair is when I noticed the top was not graduated from front to back and had a steep step before getting to the next section. Also noticed that the front was shorter than what I wanted and the middle longer than back shorter. But hey, at least I got a great fade on the sides! Called back and talked to Cindy and told me to come back in. I came back in and my hair was fixed. Had to go even shorter so I couldn't comb my hair anymore :( All done, they did a good job and ensured I was happy at the end. Would recommend, but be sure to style your hair before getting out of the chair to make sure you like it. read more

so ive been coming here for over a year. after awhile they will remember you on a first name basis and its not hard to develop a rapport with the stylists. they have TV with games for the kids a pool table and a TV at every station if you will like watching the game. The cuts are good, and i use the word good only because i get a very simple medium fade every week. however they will tailor your cut the way you want. TV, games and cute girls to look at makes the wait worth it. In the end as long as they are open i will continue to get my hair cut by them. read more
