The place is huge!! there is a ton of space in there plenty of…read moreroom to sit while you wait to get a haircut. they have plenty of TVs playing movies or music videos even video games if you'd like. everything is new in the place and they even carry Little Bastard Clothing in the shop. its just like any barber shop a lot of BS'nn and fooling around. keeps you entertained while you wait. they offer anything from haircuts, lineups, trimming, hair designs etc. The shop owner Timmy very nice guy. you can tell a lot of the people that come here have been longtime clientele. and that speaks volumes of the guys that work here. just a normal haircut is 15 bucks. my hair always comes out great. this is a very nice never had a complaint about anything here. The guys get booked up fairly fast, they do walk-ins but i usually make an appointment to be on the safe side. there has been times where i had to wait 30-45 mins. nice clean spacious shop with a cool atmosphere

Matt gives the cleanest fade haircut I've ever had...always even, always sharp, and always exactly how I ask for it. He also does a great beard trim, which saves me from trying (and failing) to keep it lined up myself. It's a true local barbershop on Mendon Road, and Matt treats everyone like family. The shop is clean, easy to get to, and you never feel rushed. You can tell he takes pride in his work, whether it's a simple men's cut or a detailed skin fade. If you're looking for the best Cumberland barber who listens and actually delivers consistent quality, Matt's the guy. I am writing about a bad experience today that I have had after coming many years to Joe's…read moreHairstyling. I am sad to say I will NOT be back here any more because of the attitude that was received by former owner Joe over a five minute lateness. Not even a hello, I got "I can't shampoo your hair now, twenty minutes for an appointment, your five minutes late, one of the other girls can do it." If anything, I have been EARLY for my appointments through out the years and never late once. He couldn't give leeway for ONE TIME being late for all my years of being a customer here? My dad has actually MISSED There's no reason he couldn't do it. I said to him I didn't need his attitude, and that it wasn't called for. He called me out on having an attitude. I said, "Really Joe? After all the times I have been here, you're going to give me a problem over this?" I got NO response. I told Joe he should hang it up if he can't take changes to the schedule over five minutes. I saw Helen (The manager and REAL owner of the business) and I asked her in the parking lot since when did Joe become such a haircut Nazi and explained the situation. He came to the door and said "Helen, do you want him off the property?" Meaning threatened with the police. I told him to mind his own business. He said, "It is my business." I said "No Joe, it isn't, you sold it!" Also note, the waiting area was empty the whole time that I was there and no other customers were present. Joe should put his scissors back in the draw and keep them there since he can't seem to adapt to changes in a schedule and get bent all out of shape over a five minute lateness. I highly recommend AVOIDING Joe's Hairstyling. Especially Joe. A jack of trades, blowhard knowledge of everything except how to treat a customer. I would give zero stars unfortunately Yelp requires at least one be given. Read the fine print folks: 20 minutes for a normal hair cut appointment. Don't consider going if you're going to be late, you'll get the barber nazi for sure when you go. At least from Joe, Anyway.
