As my son preferred to have his haircut by so I patiently waited. After waiting for about 2 hours, I asked the barber name Costi how many people were ahead of us then he replied we were next. When he finished his current haircut my son stood up and was moving toward the barber chair then another guy who came after us said he's been waiting for an hour,then the barber who said we were supposed to be next asked the other guy to sit in the chair for his haircut. The barber himself showed disconcerted on his face as he it was our turn. I took my son out and never going back again. We wasted 2 hours just to be told it wasn't our turn. Do Not have your haircut at the Istanbul Barbers, it's mainly only for Romanians!!! And all the good reviews are from his own Romanian friends. So disgraceful!!! Went for a shave and ended up getting a cut as well. Felt like royalty afterwards (well it IS next to Windsor after all!) Was with my son, otherwise would have also taken them up on a nice cold beer or G&T that is included. Although there is a place up the road that got "hairdresser of the year"...they must be worried about being usurped and their crown being stolen by this team (ok I will stop with the terrible royalty analogies now!) It's in the trendy Albert road in Southsea and when walking in you feel the relaxed atmosphere. It's a mix of retro and vintage with cool touches all over the place. I've been here many times and get my hair cut by Lo, great character, always chatty and a great hairdresser! A simple text to any of the guys there to book an appointment and thats it. Definitely recommend this place!
