Over three years ago I wrote…read more.. "I knew I had found my new hairdresser and of course, with the salon being close to work, it made it so convenient for me." And then that dreadful day came when I received notification that they had moved to Vaughan!! Vaughan??!! So much for getting my hair done during my lunch hour AND... I live a good 40 minutes away from his new location! I really didn't want to spend over an hour (round trip) on the weekend to get my hair done. I was so sad. I clearly had to find a salon closer to my home. I looked and read reviews and decided on a place. What a mistake. Needless to say, it took a long time to grow that mess out and when I thought it had been long enough, I hightailed it back to Frank! It's taken a couple grow-outs to fully fix the error of my ways but I can promise you one thing... I won't make that mistake again. Frank is worth every minute of travel time!

Aydin gave me the best haircut I've had in years. This was my first time at Phases. I was very…read morehesitant to change hair stylists since I have thick naturally wavy hair which might sound great to have but it's quite a nightmare to maintain. I do not spend much time doing my hair because even when I do, my hair just likes doing its own thing. I rely on the haircut to make my hair look great naturally and Aydin did it. Many times after going to the hairdressers, my hair looks good right up until I wash it and then the magic is gone. This time was different. All I had to do was put a little defining creme, scrunch and go. It air dried perfectly. The hair cut is pricier than some but well worth the money! Thanks Aydin!

I've been going to Mary Nota at Salon E since high school, which would make it over 10 years now…read more I started with her at another salon, and followed her to Salon E. It's a beautiful, clean and inviting place, with friendly staff who make sure you're as comfortable and relaxed as can be. There is always ample parking, and they're great about fitting you in for last minute appointments. Mary is an amazing hair stylist and colourist who cares mostly about the health of your hair and will tell you if you're making dumb decisions (like I almost did when I wanted to bleach out my hair). She'll also stop you from making those poorly-thought out emotional hair decisions, like when you're convinced getting bangs will be a great way to get over your ex. She'll find solutions to get you the exact look you want, without the unnecessary damage. She's probably the most honest stylist I have ever been to, and has saved me from many a hair disaster.

It's also fun to come in here because you literally talk to clients that you never met. Everyone is so friendly here and I love it. I didn't notice it in the salon, but when I got home it was just so orange. I called the salon when I got home to see if I could book an appointment to get it fixed, and they said "sure" and that they will see what they can do. When I went back, they were extremely rude to me, a paying customer, and told me that nothing was wrong with my hair and there was nothing they could do for me unless I payed. I was super unhappy with how it turned out and my experience overall. I will NEVER be going back to this hair salon. EVER. Very unprofessional and rude environment.
