Let me also say that I had never met her before. I was in town for one day and the stars aligned for us to meet. I needed my hair blown out and she just happened to have an opening when I needed it. When I arrived, Annie was incredibly gracious and friendly and took me back immediately. Even though I arrived 10 minutes early! The treatment itself was heavenly and it was clear that she really knows her stuff. She explained to me in great detail how to treat my type of hair (Wavy 2A) and what products I would benefit the most from using. All in all, I couldn't have been more impressed with my experience at Hairscape. Annie's experience, professionalism, and business skills are far beyond what I was expecting and I can't recommend her enough if you're looking for that person who treats you more than just another client. Sometimes you meet someone that feels so familiar even though you've never met before and this was one of those times for me. I anticipate being back in town fairly regularly and I will always make time to come in for a service. If I could give Annie and her staff more than 5 stars, I would. Even though her staff were busy working with other clients, they all took the time to say hello and one staff member even explained some products to me when I was checking out. I went here after doing immense research when my normal hair stylist went on medical leave. So I thought this place would be a great match. Boy was I wrong I'm still devastated and it's been one month later. She turned my chocolate cherry brown hair into some strawberry weird mess and couldn't follow a simple. I said layered, she took that as cut it all off until I can't even put it into a pony tail. I warn you. She can only process pure 100% Virgin hair and I wouldn't trust her with a pair of scissors near my head ever again. Well I wouldn't ever let her go near my hair regardless. And to top it off. She was rude as I was crying in the chair and said I was never allowed back. Not like I would ever go back but who says that after they've butchered my hair?!?? Marilyn from beginning to end is professional friendly understanding VERY precise with her cuts. My experience with her is she has washed blow dry my hair, cut, styled, foiled and that is low lights AND high-lights I've gone totally dark hai over the years (much to her grimace) but she's put up with my requests and been very patient and supportive.
