I am very dissatisfied. If Leah is no longer in business that is fine, but she needs to respond or provide a refund.

I first went in to check out the facility. I was greeted by Tracy the Spa manager, which I didn't know at the time however she could not be more accommodating kind. We discussed on the kind of treatment I needed. She pointed me into the right direction. I consequently booked an 80 minute massage. I had sage as a massage therapist. She was absolutely incredible. I really do think it was the best massage I have ever had and I literally have had them all over the world. The facility is clean and gives you access to the sports club as well. I also had a lovely facial that day. Linsay couldn't have been sweeter and pointed me in the right direction for some creams that were necessary for my skin type. I truly have never had felt so pampered in a long time. I would give the Spa 10 stars if I could I really do mean it. If you find yourself in the El Dorado Hills area and you want to pamper yourself please spa.

Asante Spa has great facials and massages. Brittany, Heidi, and Megan have provided my group with…read moreexcellent services. That being said, Asante is not good for groups. My group of 3 has tried to set up spa days at Asante multiple times, and it is always very difficult to schedule. Asante just does not have the ability to accommodate groups. The spa manager, Tracy, is rude and unpleasant to deal with on the phone. We kept going to Asante, because the massages and facials were always great. Our last visit was the final straw. We had two derma plane facials and one massage scheduled. Tracy had to call to change the time of our spa services because they had an esthetician leave and had to schedule one facial with a new esthetician. The facial type was NEVER mentioned during this call, only the time change. When we arrived on the day of our spa services, the esthetician was not certified to do a derma plane facial. This was a surprise to us, and when questioned the esthetician brought in Tracy, the spa manager, to help figure it out. Tracy came into the room with a very negative attitude right away. She insisted she did tell us about the facial type changing during the phone call. She was unnecessarily aggressive and rude. She offered no apologies or willingness to figure out the situation; she simply wanted to argue that we were told about the change. A different type of facial was not a huge problem; we were just surprised about the change and had never been informed. The esthetician provided great service and was apologetic over the situation. When we were ready to pay, Tracy was at the desk. She did end up giving the facial free. Again, she was not friendly, or apologetic. Her exact words were "I'm not going to make you pay for a service you didn't want," with the same aggressive tone. Tracy's approach to the situation was just bad overall. Tracy is not someone who should be the face of a high-end spa like Asante. She has really given us a negative impression of Asante.

I recently moved to the area and decided to try this salon for partial highlights and root…read moretouch-ups. While the stylist was kind, my appointment stretched to three exhausting hours on a Saturday evening. By the time I left, the lighting made it difficult to judge the final result, though my roots looked a bit off. The stylist even mentioned that the toner had not taken in some spots. The next day out in natural daylight, a friend immediately asked me "why is your hair red," pointing out that my roots had processed completely brassy and reddish. I reached out via text to the number the stylist had used to contact me, but instead of the stylist following up to make things right, the salon owner replied. To make matters worse, the owner had the audacity to suggest I pay for the color correction. After I politely pointed out that I trusted a professional and should not be charged to fix an error that I could not have prevented on my own, the owner reluctantly offered odd appointment times with another owner. The entire interaction felt cold, dismissive, and defensive. Sensing a complete lack of professionalism, I canceled that appointment days in advance to avoid further stress. It has now been over two weeks since my scheduled fix date, and no one from the salon has bothered to reach out, apologize, or check in. There was not a single ounce of accountability, urgency, or basic respect for a client. Save your time, money, and your hair and go somewhere that stands behind their work. There is little respect given to clients (I witnessed it in another way as well- when I came in, I had to stand there until my hairstylist came over-about 10 minutes, later to learn it was a stylist and a man that oddly hung out there the whole time that was occupying the sitting area).
