Ok ,it is a very small shop so we can't expect too much from 'The Bakers Oven'. However ,it is right in the middle of Chesham town and we find it so useful for a hot snack whilst out and about in the shops on a Saturday morning.I am a hot sausage roll fan every time and they are good! My son has tried most of the other hot pastries and is currently coming down in favour of the roast chicken one.Ther is almost always a queue which means that in a very small space it is difficult to work out who is queuing for the hot counter and who has just calkled in for bread. I can't recommend the buns and cakes. I find them very 'artificial' in taste. A lot of pink icing and 'hundreds and thousands'. basic but tasty generally though. You can get soup and a sausage roll for about £1.50 (cheap and cheerful) and that just does us till we get home. read more
