The staff was very helpful in getting us into the concert & plenty of bars so the wait for refreshments was short.

Then you get to the single elevator & quickly realize the rest of the hotel is a bit rundown. The one elevator is extremely slow, so much so I wished I was on the first floor. The rooms are extremely outdated. There is dust all over the vents & by the AC unit near the window. The bathroom inside the room was also pretty beat up. I just felt very dirty in the room. The staff at the front desk were also not friendly at all. I will not be staying here again & I wouldn't recommend anyone else to stay here.

ROOM: One word that comes to mind was dated, especially when it came to the bathroom. The seals/caulking around the sink area and ledges were cracked, it did not effect anything but my intrinsic qualities of reporting details tells me it was worth mentioning. The rest of the room was pretty standard and everything within was commonplace. The pillows on the bed were tiny and one of them smelled like ...liquid rear end for lack of a better comparison. PROPERTY: Free coffee & ice water in the lobby. Here's an interesting thing not many hotels offer- on select nights they have free social hour 5-7p with free food and drinks....then free cookies. That was pretty darn cool. The Pool was a redeeming amenity here, large pool area, and naturally a large pool and hot tub open late. This place is in an ideal location, i would come back if I really needed to

I just wrapped up my first stay at the M Resort, and I'm already looking forward to coming back!…read moreI've walked through this place a few times before and had high hopes--happy to say it lived up to my expectations. First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!

It's a luxury hotel that has air conditioning. A place for all the A listers to stay, important individuals from around the globe to plan the future. This was their home away from home. Come in you're welcome here! The Boulder Dam museum holds so many historical artifacts from the early days of the day and outlines many toils of the past during its making. As you walk the halls they scream a story . If it was not for the "Friends of the Hotel, and its rescue in 1993, it might not be as great as it is today. After World War II, and the decades following the dam was closed and tourism fell to zero . Now after its restoration the breath of fresh air fills it yet again. There's a real table for eating at, which I really appreciate, and a separate sink outside the bathroom (although there's only soap for the in-bathroom sink). Overall, the space is roomy and comfortable. There's a tub, too! The downsides are as follows: 1. The hotel is supposed to be nonsmoking, but the lobby and hallways smell like cigarette smoke mixed with cleaning agents. 2. The hotel is "pet friendly," and staff was nonchalant about my concerns about my severe pet allergies. At least the floors are some kind of wood and not carpet (although that led to other problems). 3. The parking situation is kinda terrible. There's no temporary spot for loading/unloading/checking in, and most spots are a bit of a trek. 4. The wooden floor is dirty. I showered but now my feet are filthy. 5. The mattresses lack support and sag when I sit or lay down. And, finally, 6. My toddler fell out of bed and hit her head on the hard wooden floor. She has a massive goose egg. We're currently seeking medical care (which is why I'm writing this review in the middle of the night).

*FIRST TO REVIEW ALERT*…read more I'm honored to be the first to give you the skinny on this place! Beautiful new addition to Henderson. Right now, it's the only Hotel on water street! Opening in late November the Atwell suites is an intimate and stylish hotel. CHECK IN: Quick and easy and lobby smells wonderful! ROOM: THEY MADE GOOD USE OF A SMALL SPACE! brand new fixtures, brand new modern stylish accomodations. There is a refrigerator a microwave and a couch and a big island table in the middle. The bathroom and shower were adequate and the room utilized a black and white color theme. Also luxury bath products, but in small bottles still, not in dispeners, like the latest hotel trend. They have complimentary breakfast in the morning and free juice and coffee in the lobby. Being just steps from a small casino (The Pass) this is the perfect quiet stay! By the way, the hotel also has its own bar, & wine bar with bar food. The 2nd floor was dedicated to confortable seating space with couches, a conference room (The Study) and a fitness studio and a very nice one. Tucked in the back, a pool yep you read that right. No hot tub though. Ill be back for sure.

Contacted hotel night before asking for a high room floor. It's in my profile to be away from…read moreelevator. I was put on the 2nd floor, 26 steps from the elevator and in a high traffic zone just above the hotel front door. (See photo) When I checked in, there was 1/4 parking spaces full so I know my request could have been accommodated. Let's start with the cons: At 730 pm, an intermittent booming sound that accompanied a strong, hard vibration in the room started. It lasted till about 11 pm and started again at 445 am. I thought I was above the gym and someone was dropping weights. I contacted the front desk about it and all he could say was it was likely other guests starting their day. That answer didn't make sense being that this room was located above the staff room behind the front desk and it keeps coming from the same spot in the room so no, it's not guests starting their day. I don't care what's causing it, that sound/vibration not ok! I called from the room phone and he had to ask what room I was in. There is a sign on the table lamp nightstand to use plugs on bed frame. The plug for the outlet on the bed-frame wasn't even plugged in. Motorcycles were allowed to park on either side of the lobby door. That was also loud. There is only 1 elevator so you wait awhile for it to come and even longer if the cleaners are going to each floor with linens/cleaning carts. The banging and room vibrating is my highest complaint here. Most of these hotel put in cheap Kleenex but these were the worst of all. They were easily compared to sandpaper. For the price I paid, my high status with H.I. as well as a simple request of a room that was then loud with the hard vibration was inexcusable. Obviously this was a quick, cheap build with no soundproofing built in. Pros: comfortable bed, excellent water pressure and near immediate hot water, clean room, decent breakfast with various options. Staff was nice. Air conditioning very good. There are lots of other hotel options around so i would choose a different one if i came back to this area. My rate for a roof over my head at a high price 1 out of 5. Having to add insult to injury. Went out to pack my car and the lawn guy blowing dust all over my newly washed car then hotel key didn't work and staff had to let me in even after getting a brand new key. Very irritating hotel!

Day 1- check in was smooth and young lady at the front desk was super polite! Puts me on the top floor upon my request. A/C in the room isn't working and TV won't show cable channels. Not a big deal because I had just got a text asking me how my check in was. I reply with "A/C needs to be looked at tomorrow and cable tv not working, please fix while I'm out of my room." Day 2- Early morning text asking how's my stay is? I reply "good so far, please don't forget about A/C and cable tv not working." They ensure me it will be looked at. When I get home from work, A/C and cable TV still not working. I call front desk and ask them IF it was even looked at...the reply with "we have no record of any issues." Eventually Maintnenace shows up and gets both issues take care of. That evening when I come back to the front entrance, the young lady working the front desk when I left for dinner is out front with 2 of her friends...they are smoking weed (not illegal here, just a bad image for the hotel). Day 3- I've returned to my room and realized, that my trash can is still full from my first night? No house keeping has been performed. I ended up taking out my own trash, I'm not above that but didn't sign anything saying "no house keeping." Day 4- return home from work. Still no house keeping and I don't think the A/C is working again. I am checking out tomorrow. For what my company is paying for my room, they are getting ripped off. There is also construction going on at the hotel so half of the entrance is tore up and I don't think the elevator has been cleaned since I've checked in. I wouldn't stay here again. Not an area I would stay at with my family...
