The staff at the front desk were also not friendly at all. I will not be staying here again & I wouldn't recommend anyone else to stay here.

The fitness center has numerous workout equipment and offers towels and bottled water to guests. The hotel does offer a gym membership to Non-guests for a monthly fee. Anthony's restaurant located on the second level has a classy yet elegant vibe. I ordered the chilean Seabass with creamed spinach. The fish was excellent. However, the spinach did lack flavor. The bathroom is spacious but you can see some wear and tear with it being an older hotel. I also had an issue with the the tv volumes. One remote would turn the volume up or down on the wrong tv. I do appreciate that this is one of the few hotels that still offers alcohol wipes to clean high traffic areas when you first enter.

I see reviews on google complaining about the quality of food at a no additional fee brunch at a 3 star hotel-- it's a given whatever food is offered at this "free" breakfast will be mediocre no matter where you are staying in the US - if folks want something more than powdered scrambled eggs and Quaker instant oats they need to pay for brunch.

Puts me on the top floor upon my request. A/C in the room isn't working and TV won't show cable channels. Not a big deal because I had just got a text asking me how my check in was. I reply with "A/C needs to be looked at tomorrow and cable tv not working, please fix while I'm out of my room." Day 2- Early morning text asking how's my stay is? I reply "good so far, please don't forget about A/C and cable tv not working." They ensure me it will be looked at. When I get home from work, A/C and cable TV still not working. I call front desk and ask them IF it was even looked at...the reply with "we have no record of any issues." Eventually Maintnenace shows up and gets both issues take care of. That evening when I come back to the front entrance, the young lady working the front desk when I left for dinner is out front with 2 of her friends...they are smoking weed (not illegal here, just a bad image for the hotel). Day 3- I've returned to my room and realized, that my trash can is still full from my first night? No house keeping has been performed. I ended up taking out my own trash, I'm not above that but didn't sign anything saying "no house keeping." Day 4- return home from work. Still no house keeping and I don't think the A/C is working again. I am checking out tomorrow. For what my company is paying for my room, they are getting ripped off. There is also construction going on at the hotel so half of the entrance is tore up and I don't think the elevator has been cleaned since I've checked in. I wouldn't stay here again. Not an area I would stay at with my family...

Some of our work locations are out this way so I made the reservation for this place. All our rooms were ready when we got here. No early arrival this trip, we were driving in from the Sacramento area and were glad just to be here. One of my crew grabbed the luggage carts, while we all unloaded from the big Suburban. The rooms were all fine and the keys worked. We didn't have to try and make all the rooms next door to each other so tat was fine. WE have cell phones to communicate inside the hotel. Do people really still use those room phones? other than to just call the front desk for more towels? My room was fine, I ask for the first floor. The WiFi worked good, so that's the main thing. We'll be here for awhile, so I better get comfortable. The free breakfast is all about the same at all the Holiday Inn Expresses. Love those cinnamon rolls!
