Branded products from the likes of Disney and Nickelodeon are on sale at attractive prices, the store offers a wide range of sizes and styles and the people that work here all seem to be friendly child-lovers who know exactly what they're talking about if ever you ask their advice. I took my 6 year-old cousin here recently and both of us were very impressed. She was instantly besotted with the store's diverse range of princess-style Disney dresses and cartoon-inspired clothes and I ended up spending much more than anticipated on her belated birthday presents! I'd definitely visit again in the future.

The staff are friendly and helpful and try to assist you in what ever way they can, they don't…read morepounce on you as soon as you walk in the door like some shops, but are easy to find if you do need them, each member of staff are throughly trained to fit car seats and advise you as to which is the best type for your child, they also have knowledge regarding toy's, and clothing. the shop is equipped with toilets for both adults and children ,and also have baby changing and breastfeeding rooms to accommodate you and your children. I have always known these to be kept clean and tidy at all times with staff on hand to help. Mothercare did used to cater for children upto until around 10 years regarding clothing, but have recently stopped and only cater for children upto 5 years. The quality of the clothing is good, but in most shops there isn't much choice, and designs seem to be the same all the time. And can be quite expensive for what you get. The shop however can be praised for there part in catering for premature babies, years ago they became one of the first major shops to stock clothing to fit premature babies with size's starting from early baby (3lb), then tiny baby,newborn and 0-3months+, and work closely alongside 'comfort' who make washing powder, to ensure that the clothing is as gentle as it can be alongside baby's skin.They also stock premature nappies, soothers, bottles and teats. A couple of months ago celebrity 'Myleene klass' worked with mothercare to design her own range of baby clothing, and it was launched into the store, her aims where to promote a more stylish yet comfy approach to baby clothing, and caters for both boy's, girls, and unisex. Since they came out into shops 3-4 months ago they have been selling very fast. ~My views~ Mothercare does have a lot of good points and they do try to cater for every child, they have products which have been careful thought out by themselves which make parents life easier, the only downfall is that like i've mentioned their prices can be very high, which does put a lot of people off, they constantly making profit on items so why not lower the price and attract a more wider range of people who can afford them.

All clothes are of decent quality and some are even handmade. Great if you want your child to look individual but still cute and classy without the price tag. Clothes ages range from newborn all the way up to 13/14 years of age. Sells great school jumpers and trousers at a fraction of the cost of leading shops. The owner also offers the option of paying a deposit and then paying the balance weeklyupon which you are given the goods. Great for saving up for xmas.
