Their chemistry is wonderful--they're fun, a little silly, and make it feel like you're spending the morning with friends instead of just watching the news. The rapport and banter between everyone is natural, genuine, and entertaining. It never feels forced, and it puts a smile on my face while still keeping me informed. Please let the entire Sunday morning team know they're doing a terrific job. They made my morning, and I hope they keep bringing that same warmth, humor, and camaraderie every Sunday.

Upon exiting, their security guard decided to drop the gate down on my car. The owner of the station, Pat, was in contact and informed me that her crisis division would follow up with me to handle the situation. After one initial talk with her she then disappeared. Their security also took no responsibility. Between the staff and the owner, it's absolutely absurd. Not only are they spreading false news and so so narratives, but they clearly lack any ability to take responsibility for their actions.

I ran into G4 quite by accident on my cable system and was intrigued that something so ridiculously…read moreamateurish could actually be bankrolled by Comcast and gain an actual channel listing, not to mention funding. G4 is/was (mercifully killed last month by Comcast) a cable channel for gamers offering opinion and insight into the new hardware and software of the moment. This was an offering full of digital earnestness as the male hosts were all bald with thick rimmed glasses (a classic techno-geek tell) and the women were all very loud goths. There are high school AV squads who would never tolerate such stereotyping and unprofessionalism. Audiences were intolerant as well as the channel was habitually mired in last place among the 200+ channels measured by Nielsen drawing 1,000 viewers per hour in prime time. There were probably three times as many viewers watching Romanian table tennis over on the Olympic Channel. I don't believe in euthanasia but Comcast definitely made the right call. Gaming holds no interest for me but I suspect that if you're into Call of Duty inspired slaughter and bloodlust you'd much rather do it than watch three bald idiots talk about it. I'll always be a fan of "what were they thinking" absurdity but you really have to question Comcast's professional judgment for greenlighting this digital roadkill. One anonymous star.

You done yet? No? Okay, I'll give you another minute. ... Alright. Now that you got that out of the way, I can start my review. I'm a gamer, I like tech gadgets even though I can't afford it, so naturally I love G4. In fact, it's the station I watch the most lately. I used to watch a lot of animal planet, food network, and cartoon network, but G4 has taken over. Now, I don't love EVERYTHING about G4. Some of the shows I like: - Cinematech: Nocturnal Emissions. A show that showcases clips from various video games. A heavier, more adult oriented version of cinematech. - Attack of the show. A talk show (?) that gives you news and updates about pop culture, video games and technology. A little secret; I like staring at Olivia Munn's boobs. They're so nice, I can't help it. - X-Play. A video game review show. I love Morgan and her witty humor. Sessler? Not so much. His voice kinda annoys me. - Ninja Warrior a.k.a. Sasuke. A Japanese obstacle course competition show, kinda like American Gladiator, but better. Competitors range from bulky musclemen to adult video model to 80 year old grampa. - Special coverage shows such as Tokyo Game Show coverage and E3 coverage. - Wired for sex. Interesting and somewhat educational. It's a documentary after all. Shows I don't give a shit about: - Code Monkeys. An animated cartoon comedy using 8 bit graphics. NOT FUNNY. Stupid, sexist, racist, and just overall not funny. - COPS. Do we really need another station showing this show? - Cheaters. See COPS. - Star Trek. My fiance loves it. I hate it. It kinda balances out. - Arrested Development. Never cared about this show. - Cheat. Not to be confused with cheaters. A show that gives you cheats for video games. Who needs it when you have gamefaqs.com?? This show is stupid. But Kristin Holt needs a job, I guess. - Street Fury. Ugh. The host reminds me of snoop dogg. Good to watch if you're into asian chicks. - Some other stuff I really don't care about so I can't even remember their names. So there you have it, my review of my current favorite TV station. Did I just bring myself into the next level of dorkiness?

I watched the entire DVD TV series and three of the DVDs didn't have English Subtitles! What did I do? I called mvibo first, but to my dismay-I left countless messages for the mvibo department to return my phone call from August until December 2011. I waited FOUR months for someone to return my phone call and NOBODY from mvibo EVER returned my phone call! I had business errands in LA, so I decided, I'd bring my DVDs and exchange at mvibo the bogus DVDs for the NEW DVDs possessing English subtitles. Anyway, this KBS building appeared dishevelled, severely out-dated, and riding inside the elevator was sketchy. I visited the mvibo department, but the Korean Dudes who worked in the DVD replicating department spoke very little English, so I had to speak in Korean=Hangugo ! It's amazing I could speak enough Korean for the Dudes to understand my problem I experienced with the DVDs I purchased online! So, the mvibo/KBS America Dudes said they'd send me another set. The security guards an amazing, professional and very nice. Walking towards the doors to the lobby you can see police signs from certain tv shows and films that are produced there. Inside the lobby there's comfortable seating, a television and then it's the concierge desk. If you need the elevator the concierge will help you get to your destination. After talking to the concierge I didn't need the elevators. I just had to walk through the lobby and when you exit you are ground level where there's signs for what production is filming in a specific stage. The stages are huge and it's amazing the creativity some of these tv/film/commercial companies can construct: a mini mansion, basketball court with bleachers and event the inside of a courthouse to name a few. When evening falls you get a beautiful view of downtown Los Angeles with all of the sky scrapers nicely lit up. The inside of main building is very fun with healthy motivation statements in the stairwell, the hallways have fun 1980s style carpeting and the walls/doors are bright and colorful. There's a fun buzz of hard working production staff getting ready for filming and the cool chill ease from the students that are taking classes here. Los Angeles Center Studios has filming opportunities, meetings, fittings and also host social events like Black On The Block. Which is like an independent flea market and networking. Love the style - direct, professionally presented, and a pace I can absorb. Some would say slow and boring but I like it. The news tends to be factually reported with what I believe to be little speculation. I seldom see the Channel 7 reports being "walked back" due to factual errors, and often see them expanded to add new information. And then there are the news readers and reporters... very "approachable". Especially love the news team of Dick Gregory and Annabelle Munoz. But let's not forget Johanna Lara... Things I don't like, which may not be unique to Channel 7... the abuse of the term "Breaking News" as a sound bite rather than an alert that some news just broke... and the weather girls who really strain to make our boring weather sound exciting.
