There is lots of parking nearby, and the wyvern theatre is easily accessible by bus as it is in the town centre. The shows are always really fun. Sometimes local brownie, guide, and scout groups put on a show here. Other times, shows will visit here when doing a tour. The theatre is quite big. It is a very traditional looking theatre, from everything like the uniforms, to the decorations. Sometimes they also have live music which is really good. I would recomend it to families.

It was closed for a couple of years because they found Asbestos in the building, but now it has been re-furbished and opened again. They have the usual range of shows that you would expect in an urban theatre. Not the big musicals that you would expect in London, but musicals, drama, some bands and the obligatory Christmas panto. This year, the panto is going to be Aladdin. Some of the shows are by touring companies and others are put on by local choirs etc.
