We use to cycle up there with my family. Has gone down I'm afraid. Last time we went, the public toilets desperatly needed some attention. There was some litter scattered about. I wouldn't be dogmatic about who's responsibility it is to keep it clean. This use to be a great place, and it is sad that the public who go there for their enjoyment cannot respect the site and feel the need to desecrate it.
However there is a small businesses selling refreshments and providing some form of camping facilities, entertaining events seems to also have been organised during the summer. So if a profit is made by these businesses, should they not be made partly responsible for the maintenance of the site?
It has definetely got worse since all of this is going on. read more
