She has an extensive collection of every color, shape and size of mosaic tile imaginable and the know-how to help you create a piece of your own. She has studio times T, W, Th and classes and she also has space for tile parties on the weekend. Her hourly rates for studio use are very reasonable especially where she is also there to assist with projects. Be sure to check out her website as it contains many images of her work. I purchased two small rock tile kits as gifts and have already made plans to go over one evening for the studio time! We need more small businesses like this! One with enthusiastic and congenial shop owners who are anxious to help spark creativity and originality. This gift shop has regular open hours on weekends and weekdays. Check their hours. I loved peeking into the individual artists studios, most of the artists were present for this open studio event. Meeting and asking about pieces is special. I went back later in the week to purchase a small gift. Wonderful items and selection and prices were reasonable. She…read moreshowed me all the different kinds of things she makes in her studio - it's filled with lovely plates and bowls and pieces for jewelry. She then explained the different kinds of glass, showed me how to cut glass, and answered all of my MANY questions. With her help, I assembled what will become a glass bowl - a sheet of clear glass with colored glass placed on top of it in a pattern - she has LOTS of different kinds and colors of glass. Then I placed another sheet of clear glass on top. Erica carefully placed it in the kiln where it stayed for 30 hours! She sent me photos of it when it came out - it's a flat solid sheet, and it's gorgeous! Now she'll place it in a mold and put it in the kiln again to heat just enough for it to slump into a bowl shape. I can't wait!

We all laughed so, so much. The bride said it was the highlight of her weekend! Nobody really knew what to expect - most of us can't draw at all - but it was all relaxed and lighthearted and proved to be a great way to gently bring some quieter girls out of their shells. Several girls even came away thinking they might start life drawing classes! If you're trying to come up with a good bachelorette activity, I'd urge you to consider this.

She was upbeat, informative, respectful to both the sketchers (us) and the models. Made sure there were no photography during class unless it's through them to make the models comfortable. (takes guts to be nude in front of a bunch of people drinking and looking at you!) She brought out the artistic sides of everyone in the room, guided us through different sketching exercises (1-3-5 minute sketch sessions) so we're busy drawing instead of JUDGING what we were drawing. such helpful tips! I think we were all VERY impressed with our own artworks! I really thought I'd be drawing a little more than stick figures before coming here. I had a blast and this would make any gathering unique, fun and explorative! I had an amazing time!
