Fishing, paddleboats and lots of walking areas and doggy park. The frogs, crickets and cicadas serenade you to sleep at night. Fun to watch the ducks and geese in the pond too. The best shady sites in my opinion are; #42,#43,#51,#52,#70&#72. We look forward to coming back here again and will let others know about this wonderful place in Mississippi. Just an FYI for future campers, you will receive an e-mail after your first night in the park, "inviting you stay another night" and if you choose to stay another night the e-mail offers you $10 off, I did not see the e-mail until we left the park so the nice cashier did Not give me $10 off, that is obviously my fault for not keeping up on my e-mails. Curious as to why the camp manager crammed all the campers right next to each other (3 ft between campers) when there were obviously 25 open spots across the road to where she could have spaced us all a few sites apart? Did not like that and I am sure my next door neighbor campers did not like hearing each others doors open/close & other common noises. Should take one star away for that.

Asked 3 different people - finally we met a family on a golf cart that helped us find N-8. Ridiculous!!! NO drainage or drainage grading. BIG puddles of stagnant water everywhere on the property !!! Should be called Mosquito Ranch RV Park! We were worried about mosquitoes, so we walked the dogs, hooked up the ring and closed up everything. The one good thing was nice bathroom & laundry facilities that we briefly used the next morning... Did not feel safe & would never go back.

Clerk said the website would sell us the room though they dont have it. Got it the room and realized there was older furniture like the dresser in the room we had was dirty and scratched up. The bed was hard and tilted towards the mirror. There was no privacy truly for the toilet area. No table, chair or closet to put your bags away. We had to go to walmart to purchase bedding ours had weird stains, cigarettes holes and just long term wear and tears. We found all the light switches to turn off the led and star light. We the shower was spacious but dirty. Had someone else's hair in it, used their towels to cover the shower floor. We even purchased our own towels due to the cleanliness of theirs. Also only one night stand no extra lighting for the bedside. Woke up the next morning and checked out around 6am and went yo a military meeting and waited on our room across town to be ready at a much nicer place. I always bring cleaning supplies so I wiped everything down and sprayed still felt nasty even after showering with my own towels. If you want a romantic getaway don't book here save your money if this is the only option.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by both Courtney & Ed Lewis at the counter. They were both so hospitable and welcoming. The check-in process was easy and straightforward. I was assigned room #602, located on the 6th floor. Ed finally informed me about the pertinent details of the hotel stay. This hotel was beyond incredible from start to finish. I have nothing but a lot of positive notes to share. PROS: * Complimentary breakfast AND Dinner * Top-Shelf Happy Hour daily from 5:30 - 7:30 PM - complimentary alcoholic drinks (up to 3 per day). The bartender, Tanisha, was beyond sweet and served up amazing drinks! * Beautiful view from the 6th floor * The room was clean and located close to the floor's elevator * Great amenities - A/C, fridge, TV, microwave, and more! * Complimentary parking - spaces were plentiful * Convenient location - a variety of stores & restaurants nearby; right off the freeway * Affordability of the room rate What stood out to me the most was the inclusion of the complimentary dinner. I was beyond impressed, as this is something that's not usually offered at most hotels. For dinner on Wednesday night, I tried the Grilled Chicken, Macaroni & Cheese, and Vegetable Soup. On Thursday night, I had the Meatballs in Brown Gravy, Garlic Red Mashed Potatoes, and Gumbo. The taste of the food from both nights was not too shabby and very doable. Overall, the Prado exceeded expectations. The entire hotel experience was just marvelous. Should I travel to Mississippi in the near future, I will definitely stay here again.
