I even bought fake flowers and various of other items for my wedding (super budget/DIY wedding and I'm proud of it). I also buy yarn for knitting and supplies for embroidering. They have kids craft too which my toddler loves. They offer custom framing and helium balloons; their website allows for customization options. When I went, I saw a room for where they offer classes; summer camp are offered and birthday parties can be hosted at the stores. There are 1,252 Michaels in the US and Canada. I think it's a great store for the artsy and crafty people; even if you're not artsy/crafty it's fun to look at. Don't forget to check their website for coupons!

I really enjoyed getting the chance to view some local art by some really talented folks! Now that this location is on my radar, I am going to be checking in so see what other events they host. I heard that they also have done photography showings in the past. The venue itself is a tad tough to find just going by google maps, but once you realize where it is, parking is super easy. It's small but cozy, well laid-out, and adorable. I found the atmosphere for the event dinner to be extremely charming, and the staff were amazing. I'll be back, WeHa Art League. Is a lovely metaphysical shop located in there; they sell herbal tea, oils, art, jewelry, soaps, books, crystals, and other items. The antique items were plentiful and unique. The building is historic and very cool to see all the old remnants of the axe factory. Parking lot was a decent sized. Lisa's Crown and Hammer is located on the same lot and the Farmington Trail. If you're into antiques, thrifts stores, and yard/tag sales; you will love this place.

Each vendor has a cute little setup, which is nice for browsing, but the pricing? Definitely not flea market pricing. As a reseller, I'm always on the hunt for deals, and there just wasn't any room here. Most items were priced at full retail--or even higher in some cases--which kind of defeats the purpose. Yes, some of the stuff is old, used, and vintage-adjacent, but nothing rare enough to justify the markup. If you're just looking for a weekend wander or want a quirky spot to kill time, it's fine. But if you're a picker, collector, or someone who knows the value of what you're looking at... this probably isn't your gold mine. Personally, I won't be rushing back.

I generally get one of these notebooks and it becomes my baby for a good year or so... and anyway I believe that it is going to work well. (I have been Moleskin-loyal for a few years now but the paper quality seems similar and thus I am feeling confident). I come here from time to time for XXL canvases, acrylic paints, and to get supplies for my fountain pens. I always seem to spend a couple hours here... whether I intend to or not! They have information about local art classes pinned right to the front door and for anyone who has leveled-up from (or is unable to find what they need at) Michaels, this is a wonderful place with fair prices! They often seem to have some kind of sale going on.
