There are a couple different classes you can take to get introduced to stained glass, like creating a dragonfly. Then as your skills improve you can take classes to make large panels or even lamps. The later classes are very open ended so you can learn different skills based on your experience and make pieces that match your interests. The classes are competitively priced and often include all materials. The facility has lots of supplies and tools that you can use, so you rarely need to bring anything except your own ideas. The instructors are extremely experienced, especially Donna, and are patient and willing to work with you. I've created a couple pieces at the Columbia Art Center and I'm excited to see what I can make in the future!

The problem with this school is when I went here half of the equipment in the classrooms was outdated and broken. Admin knows about the problem but puts no effort into fixing or replacing anything which is surprising because its costs $24,000 for 11 months to go to school here. The school will take anyone here as a student and that was a big problem because there was students that where court ordered to come here or go to jail and on a FREE RIDE from the government. This caused a lot of problems in the classroom for the Instructors. The school also has a ZERO Tolerance policy for drugs but students would use drugs in the parking lot and come into class high and skip class. The big problem with this is the school would push those students through and give them a diploma. Due to this Lincoln Tech has a bad rep with employers because they would have students apply there and know nothing because they did not apply themselves in class. I've went here and learned a lot because I pushed myself and the Instructors where awesome but this school has ALOT of room for improvement for the price you pay to go here!

The topic was Origami and instructor was Morgan, and she was able to hold the interest (and behavior!) of 25 8-12 year olds and the kids really got into the art. There was one particular needy child, and Morgan was able to balance helping him with helping the rest of the class very well. Highly recommend!

When I had not heard from you, I called at 1:46 PM to confirm we were still set for 2:00 PM. At that time, you informed me you were running late and would send your ETA. I did not receive proactive communication prior to that call. You later stated you were only 20 minutes late. That is not accurate. You were pulling into the parking lot approximately 20 minutes after the party was scheduled to begin, and after parking adjustments and setup time, the girls did not enter the bus until 3:00 PM. The original plan was for arrival at 1:30 PM for setup and a 2:00 PM start time. That timeline reflects a full hour delay in service start time. I have the call logs documenting our communication. Regarding the package, we did edit and finalize the package details through email, including an itemized list. That is exactly why Logan's grandmother and I repeatedly asked for the finalized itemized list prior to the party so there would be no confusion. Even after our phone conversation yesterday, I again requested a breakdown of what was included to justify the $1,000 total. I am still waiting to receive that documentation. To clarify another point, I never agreed to any "extra gift" from the case. The additional items were offered directly to the girls after they became upset, with the statement that you would "make it up to them." That was not a negotiated or agreed-upon substitution. You also mentioned the bus broke down, and at another time referenced coming from a previous party. The explanations have been inconsistent, which adds to the frustration. When discussing pricing, you asked what my budget was. I shared a number, but I also clearly stated I was willing to pay full price for exactly what I wanted. You offered a $195 discount. Naturally, I accepted. However, had I known the services would not match what was agreed upon, I would not have moved forward at all. At this point, this is no longer about emotion,it is about documentation and accountability. I keep detailed records, and I encourage any parent booking to do the same. If further clarification is needed, I am more than willing to provide it.

David, the tour guide, started this business as our Nation's first ever photo safari and has been running it ever since. He knows photography and knows how to teach it and practices what he teaches. On top of that, he's lived in DC for 45 years and knows the city and will share all of its secrets with you. They were certainly made for each other. People really should not deal with the public, if they do not like people and cannot be respectful and courteous and encouraging. I was chastised for being 15 minutes late. I had been sitting in my car the entire time and walked in 20 minutes prior to my test, No one told me when to get there and then he told me that he told me that the prior day on the phone. Sir, I have never spoken to you. The woman in the back... I have no words other than miserable and angry "black" woman. (and I am black)
