They have a wide variety of ceramic and wood projects of all different sizes and prices that people can choose from. You sit down at a table and paint your object, maybe with help if you need it, and then leave it there for them to bake in the oven. Then you come back and get it when it's ready. I didn't think to ask how long it took I bet that it's the next day. They have just about every shade of every color you can imagine. They even have take-home kits. They are boxed up and you take them home and make your creations and then come back in for them to be baked. Is glazed the right word? I think so. The lady also said you can buy any project and the paints to go on it and take it home and create it and then bring it back in for baking. All the handmade ceramics were functional and beautiful! After reading about the pottery firing process, I appreciated the mug and pie plate I bought even more. They offer pottery classes next to the gallery as well for anyone interested in trying the wheel. Blue Sage is a gem in Amarillo. Definitely check them out!
