I am writing to express our disappointment and upset in our service today for our daughter Darceys Naming day
Considering the amount we paid for a premium rate for a Saturday service, I was at points angry with not only the way we were spoken to on the day but the sheer lack of organisation from the staff!
To start, our guests were seated at 12:05hrs when our ceremony was not due to start until 1230 and asked to stand for our entrance with our chosen music playing, when not all of our guests had arrived and it was 25mins early.
Once then told to sit back down again which was embarrassing and panicking for us we were spoken to appallingly by the male member of staff outside

Us feel, I almost had a panic attack. We felt rushed and flustered however when I looked at my watch I saw that we were being rushed 25 mins early and there was no cause for concern!
When we were all ready again the male member of staff ushered us forward toward the entrance door to the solar from he spoke to us as if we were children and at such a kid and belittling tone that we were informed by our guests that they all heard him! I questioned where our entrance music was as our guide parents walked in without any music? The older gentlemen then shouted across the guests whilst our guide parents were walking in ruining their moment - " music! " then followed loudly by " turn it up ! " I at this stage was so angry I could have cried.
As you can imagion we have spent months planning this and have written directly what our order of service was including the minor details which to us was what
was going to make our service personal and special !
Although our special moments were ruined by rudeness and poor planning. Like any anyone we needed to concentrated on having a good celebration however sat through the entire service anxious as to what else had been forgotten or left out, temporarily putting the whole circumstances behind us.
Needless to say we are less than impressed and considering the amount we have spent to use the venue for a Saturday service we cannot believe the service we received
We would like to point out that Janette who conducted our ceremony was fantastic but was let down by your organisation and she herself did not remember certain details.

We have spent a lot of money and hard work organising this special day which was in our opinion disrespected and ruined
We would like some the matter looked into and compensated for this poorly conducted ceremony! I'm sure had this of been a wedding that these basic obvious mistakes would not have been made!
In response we have been told after waiting 2 weeks that we have NO grounds for compensation and that we GOT the service we paid for!! Needless to say we are taking this further! Wouldn't even award 1 star out of choice!
