Even the floor mats at the front and back entrance are white? Very questionable color for furniture and place where people wipe their shoes. We were excited to use fire pit but before arrival received a text of a burn ban. The fire pit was one of the reasons we booked the stay but those plans were quickly killed. The property was not dog friendly. Our dog could not run around the land. Within minutes of arrival and the whole stay we were stuck spending time removing small round thorns from his fur and paws. We couldn't spend much time outside for this reason only on a dirt road with rain puddles was without those painful thorns forcing us to spend more time cleaning the dog then we hoped for. My husband and I were even bleeding from removing the thorns. If you're bringing your dog this is a NO GO and not worth the cost. The place is cozy and nice overall but our dog was imprisoned in the bathroom on rainy weekend. Def not worth the cost per night with lack of fire pit amenity or dog friendly land.

It was perfect for our group of 8! Everyone raved about the house and all its awesome amenities. Each room was awesome with very comfortable beds. They really outdid the master room, from the artwork to the furniture they really outdid themselves! The showers worked great too, plenty of towels and we loved the robes, so comfy! The kitchen was super cute and they had plenty of wine glasses with the Burbank house logo on them which we thought was a nice touch. We brought our own wine glass toppers so we didn't get our glasses mixed up (highly recommend you bring some!). The highlight was easily the game room. We stayed here from 11/18/22 - 11/20/22 and the weather was 30 degrees cold and rainy so we spent more time here than out in town. We had a lot of fun playing pool, ping pong, and card games at the bar. A great highlight was hooking our music up to the surround sound and the room is truly soundproof from the outside which is a nice peace of mind for the neighbors. Had a few technical difficulties getting some of the TVs to work (Wi-Fi/remote battery issues) but Brad (the host) was AWESOME in responding so quickly to my email inquiries and being so friendly and personable the whole time. I can not tell you how much this means when renting a place when most of the time it's poor customer service from rentals. Okay, another huge highlight was the hot tub and fire pit. We used these both nights. Just have to get your own wood but HEB is literally 4 minutes away and they had plenty. We saw the neighbor's cows, but never the ones in the field behind us which we were hoping for. Maybe next time! The barn is really neat when you walk in. The ceiling is high and the pictures on the walls are neat. Take some time to look around. There's books to read and puzzles to finish. Your room has a coffee maker with coffee, creamer and sweeteners. There's shampoo and body wash in the shower, as well as a hair dryer in the bathroom. KK really thought of everything with the vanity and additional makeup mirror ladies need to get ready for the day. The only thing missing is your makeup and hair products. Theres also glassware, champagne glasses, cups too. She even included local businesses in a binder so you can find places easily. Breakfast is simple yet filling and delicious. We stayed two nights and enjoyed seeing KK in the morning and listening to funny stories about her boys and just life experiences. We will definitely be back and can't wait.

I was trying to take a vacation and when you run your own business that's not always possible. So of course something happened while I was away that needed my immediate and timely attention. Problem was I forgot my mouse and the system I needed to work on did not allow for touch screen usage. Go figure. I went to the office and Tim provided me with a mouse to borrow and I was able to meet my deadline 6 hours later and fix the problem. We utilized everything they had to offer and loved it all. Tim also made some amazing Restuarant and Brewery recommendations too. The decor was beautiful, the bathroom was simple and stylish. I loved that we had our own keurig in the room and lots of coffee and regular and flavored creamers. The main lobby had some to go silverware and pastries for breakfast. My husband and I went with another couple. What is great about this room is that it is basically a two bedroom cottage. It had a table with four chairs where we stayed up half the night playing board games and sipping wine (a bottle of which was waiting for us complimentary). It also has a couch and coffee table in the living room area as well. Each bedroom has a vanity which was perfect for us to get ready in the mornings. The owner makes breakfast for you at 9am on the weekends while you sit around a big table in a room with a huge roaring fire at one end. I would highly recommend town creek bed and breakfast to anyone visiting Fredericksberg and especially any two couples that are doing Fredricksberg together as a group. I was mainly visiting Fredericksburg to be close to Enchanted Rock State Park where I was going at night to photograph stars and other celestial objects. First of all, the motel reminds me of the ones I stayed in as a kid back in the 60's which I think were referred to as motor courts. The layout is simple, 3 long buildings, each with individual rooms, I was in Room #2. Parking was perfect for me as I parked right in front of my room's door. When you have to drag a lot of heavy photography gear in and out of the car and room, being so close is perfect. No elevator to ride and long walk to a parking lot. The room was sparkling clean, I think it might have been painted recently and the decor had a western feel with a cow skin on the floor and a Mexican serape bed cover. Speaking of the bed, it was super comfy and so were the pillows. The room had a small table and 2 comfortable chairs, the table was perfect for my laptop to use for editing my images and checking email and such. There were night stands on either side of the bed and a TV on the wall, although I never turned it on. The bathroom was great, clean and modern fixtures. It had a tub/shower, toilet and sink. The room had a kitchenette, a small counter with a nice sink and a coffee maker, a microwave was just above on the shelf. I found the 2 burner glass top stove which was stored under the sink and it worked fine for scrambling some eggs for breakfast. The fridge was small but enough room for what I needed, freezer needed to be defrosted but I kept my reusable ice pack frozen for my trip home. The only negative thing I could say is that while they did provide some plates, bowls, silverware and kitchen cooking utensils, at first there were no pots or pans. I called the main number and soon a lady delivered 2 frying pans. Sadly, they were in pretty bad shape, non stick or Teflon was all scratched up. I ended up just going to Walmart and buying a pan for $5. I would recommend the owners get some better cooking necessities like a pan and a pot. Also a roll of paper towels would be better than the Terri cloth hand towel they provided. And most importantly, the AC unit was great and kept my room really cold, even with 100 degree temps just outside. It looked clean, no signs of mold or mildew as some other reviewers noted. If I am returning to Fredericksburg, I will stay here for sure!
