Beautiful new hotel just outside the city center of Utrecht. Everyone is friendly here and the hotel is impeccable. It's a converted monetary from the church across the street, so the architecture is lovely. The interior courtyard especially is great for a cocktail even if you aren't staying there.
The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. We stayed in the Quad room with a family of 4. At first we booked the Quad loft. And it was great, but the stairs were a bit much for me so we switched to the single level Quad. Perfect!!
The rooms have everything you need including a small fridge and a small kitchen area in the loft room.
The rates are super reasonable fir all you get!
There is parking on site for 20 Euros a day. We even had laundry done and it was extremely reasonable.
The restaurant is lovely and the food was delicious. We had s wonderful dinner there and breakfast. It's mussel season so we got a treat one night!
The walk to the Dom is roughly 1 mile and easily walkable. The area is called Lombok and has a lot of middle eastern food and groceries around. You will find the neighborhood very diverse and very nice. So much to see and do.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Anthony. It is an awesome hotel, restaurant, and lounge. read more
