When we reported (via text), they did come "clean" the tub but at this point we felt that the entire place was "dirty" and couldn't wait to checkout. We were told they were going to resurface the tub and make repairs in the "off season". Considering we paid their in season rate, with no discount given, we would not stay here in the future. After speaking to another guest, they felt their room was not much better. Very impersonal experience for staying at a bed and breakfast. Would not recommend staying at this location.

Calls went repeatedly to voicemail and mailbox was full. Then we tried emailing. No response for 2 days. Finally got a response saying owner would not honor the gift certificate and he requires a 10 day notice on cancellations. We looked at online booking and he is not booked as this is not the busy season. We can provide proof of the hospital admission and stay. Would give zero stars if we could. We recommend that you avoid booking here.

My husband fished every morning and every night right along with the locals at various venues, and Ron knows them all. La Cle D'or is one, two, three blocks walking distance to everything in town. It's a great place for antique shopping, and Ron has some pieces available throughout your room for sale and at extremely reasonable prices. So shopping for the women and fishing for the men.
