Yes I winced and squeezed my friends hand so hard that he had to make sure I was not in labour. 'Why would you think I am in labour?' 'Because you are trying to rip through my flesh with your nails?' 'You think I'm fat don't you?' I nearly ended up in the ring with him. I hate to admit it but I enjoyed myself, I guess I like violence. It was nice to do something different, the stadium is impressive, the atmosphere was good in a loving violence type of way. In all seriousness though, I would recommend it as a good night out if you are up for something different. They also hold concerts and conferences here. Boxing matches of all age groups can be watched too, just keep looking at their events page on their website, although they really should update their website!

Total attendance was just shy of 75,000 for the American Football game! The sound system in the stadium is fantastic and loud. The seats are definitely skinny. We, a group of small rear people were still cheek to cheek. Also, they sold out of almost everything before the end of the first quarter!!! Merchandise was scarce, hot dogs no longer existed at all but there were plenty of drinks if you could find the right line to stand in. All in all a fantastic experience that I just assume didn't know how many hot dogs the average American could eat! TLDR: Steelers Win!

I'm not a lover of racing or betting so I can't give this a higher rating but the atmosphere was great for a Thursday night out. The food was standard enough but just on the right side of good - I had a black pudding salad which was very tasty and the leg of lamb which was very standard. The accompanying veg was a bit cold and very hard so this let it down a good bit. Still, it's more for the excitement and the atmosphere that you'd come here and that was the highlight of the night. This was something that was a fun one-off for me and I'd recommend it for a group night out with a twist.

That said me and my partner did manage to pick the first three home in another race, so we were in the money, hurrah! Bavaria was on offer at the bar as well, 2.50 EUR a bottle - happy days. The stadium works very well in Cardiff with a roof that can close in bad weather - I understand within minutes? It will be interesting to see how they manage footfall when they open. The new stadium at the moment is looking Great, .. I have been keeping my eyes on it,,I believe that they are way ahead of schedule, ,, I can't wait till Landsdowne Stadium opens its turnsiles up to the public again. What is not up for debate is…read morethat the home ground of Bohemians FC has seen witnessed some great occasions and if you want to find out a little about the working class roots of the garrison game on the northside of Dublin this is where you come. Like Barcelona, the club is owned by its members and thus so is the ground. It was nearly sold a few years back but the deal (like the nation's property bubble) came to nothing. The fact that matches are played over the summer makes it very appealing to those who want to meet the 'hardcore' Irish soccer fan and those who want to learn some new curse words. Recent additions include a Burdock's chipper and a bar which helps while away the 15 minutes of half time. Best to avoid if Bohs (as they are known) are playing the Hoops (Shamrock Rovers) as it can get a bit, well messy.
