Dr. Talreja essentially told me there was nothing she could do for me (refused to even consider prescribing a medication because she'd been told secondhand that it would not work--spoiler alert: it later changed my life) other than telling me to go back on the medicine I was allergic to. It takes a nurse 5 days to respond to a call back and then have to call many times to get a prescription meanwhile, I am dealing with the effects of not having the medication. read more

I have never been more disappointed or frustrated by my experience with an MD in any field of medicine. I've never left a review on any medical practice (or even a restaurant for that matter), but this experienced was awful. I was dismissed, my concerns and experiences were mocked and made light of, and she stopped twice to text during the limited time provided. The doctors are great, no complaints! If you decide to do the weekly shots, I don't recommend this place. The office is closed for lunch and they say last shots are given at 4:40. That's actually not the case, we've been there at 4:30 and got turned away because they said there was a waiting list so they would have time to see us. I believe if you are in the doors, you should be seen. It seems to be more about the clock than the patients. The doctors really are great though! read more

I had an appointment in Sept 2024 with Dr Neetu Talreja and I was very hopeful to find out what food(s) I've been reacting to. I did tests for 30 foods and had no reaction. The doctor then reviewed my charts and said I am taking a prescription that will counteract any reaction, therefore the allergyy testing was inconclusive. The doctor didn't review my charts submitted in advance and the appt was completely a wash and NO results. It was so frustrating! I offered to go off of the prescription and go back in 14 days and the doctor said NO - she would write a letter to my referring doctor saying that I have no food allergies - even if the testing was inconclusive. She refused to make an appt to re-do my allergy testing and is writing a letter that is CRAP. She actually said the allergy testing is expensive and I can't afford it. Wow!!! Is this considered healthcare? Or is she not interested in treating me? I may not be rich but I deserve real healthcare and quality, caring doctors. Will NOT return and do NOT recommend The Allergy Group. read more

I have been a patient here for almost three years. I keep hoping it gets better, but it doesn't; in fact, it gets worse. This clinic does not value their patients. If one of the employees tells you they will do something (transfer your shot vials between offices, let the provider know something, etc.) you can count on it not getting done. I asked for my vials to be transferred from the Curtis to the Gala location. I was told one of the receptionists was going to the Gala location the following day and would take my vials. Then someone called me and. told me I didn't have to have them transferred since they weren't just for me. I went back the next day; not only did they NOT transfer the vials, but they were out of one of the three and I had to return the next day for the third time. I have had numerous issues with billing that they blame on their system having a glitch. The receptionists are very unfriendly, especially the Saturday receptionist at the Curtis location. She acts as if you are bothering her if you go to her for a question or to pay your co-pay. The professionalism and patient care needs A LOT of improvement. I know everyone can have a bad day, but this is not how you treat patients (I have worked in patient care for over 25 years) and if you do think this is how to treat patients, you should get another job. read more

Rude and unhelpful staff at this and the Eagle location. Told incorrect information so I had to reschedule my initial appointment twice. Told I could go to any office for my shots by the eagle office staff and then was turned away by the Boise staff with an unprofessional eyeroll. read more

Drove all the way across town from Eagle and arrived at 12:11 they had nobody in their office and they thought they were too busy to give me a quick shot when they didn't close for 28 mins... this is what I have come to expect from the medical community they're great at collecting a paycheck but going above and beyond never seems to happen ever read more

Patients beware! This practice will tell you your SLIT therapy isn't covered by insurance, yet your insurance may cover it! We are out $1600 because the Allergy Group did not bill our insurance and it's a covered benefit. When we asked them to bill our insurance they refused. Find another physician's office for your Allergy treatment where you can trust what you are told. read more

This practice has the worst service. On my initial visit I was told my co-payment was $320.00. I paid it. I then had to call them three times to get them to submit the bill to my insurance company. It turned out my co-payment was only $40.00 I went to pick up a refund check from them, and immediately deposited in my checking account. The next day they called and told me they had overpaid me and proceeded to put a stop payment on the refund check. I just called them to see about getting the $300.00 they owe me, and the receptionist can't locate the right person to address my issue. My appointment was October 12, 2018. It is now February 11, 2019. If my rent check is returned because they put a stop payment on my refund check, I just might have to consider a small claims suit. read more

When I was going there the nursing staff were not friendly, I felt like I was an inconvenience to them, and while waiting in the waiting room I could here the nurses talking and swearing in the back I guess where they give shots, very unprofessional! read more

The service we received here has been life- changing! My son had anaphylactic allergies to dairy and nuts. Working with them he can now eat all of these things. It took almost 8 months of weekly visits and we never had anything but the best service and expertise. It's scary to overcome eating what makes you not be able to breathe! We always feel like the staff really cares about us and it never feels institutional. They take their time and are thorough and careful. Next week we graduate from the oral immunotherapy program and I can honestly say I'll miss the staff here! read more

I have had asthma my whole life and I went there to get a prescription for an inhaler. They said they had to do a test for allergies and I told them I had a previous doctor check it and my allergies are on record and I didn't want to do it again. They insisted so I said as long as it was covered by insurance I didn't care. They assured me it was covered by insurance so I agreed to it but then got a $600 bill in the mail a few weeks later. They do what is best for them and not what is best for their patients. Boise Valley Asthma and allergy is way better you should go there. read more

I've been really impressed with the level of care I have gotten and that they aren't looking to perform tests just to make a buck! I have gone twice now. I'm having the same problem that others are having with their false claims on my insurance not covering costs. They also charged me $50 for a one time inhalation treatment that cost me $30 for 40 treatments at home. It was ridiculous and I wouldn't have taken the treatment there if I knew. read more
