Intelligence well and truly insulted. I have to confess, working in the professional customer service industry myself, I sometimes quite enjoy encountering a slice of good old-fashioned out-of-town rudeness. Today i figured i wanted boiled egg on toast, they didn't have any boiled eggs, AT FIRST she nearly offered to make me some but stopped with a big "NO", i was hungry so i asked for a sausage on toast with brown sauce... i ended up getting 2 slices of bread which looked like they had been prepared for French toast(eggy bread), the sausage was breaking into pieces. I sat down to wait, and they have big wooden VARNISHED tables, my hands were sticking to it.... very unpleasant.
