    Room was fine. Old brick, uneven wood floors. Decor essentially was a white couch, mirror, fake…read moretree, rug and coffee table. Basic, nothing fancy. Customer service was terrible. Our photographer had a 10am reservation and we were there about 10min early. Building was locked and staff couldn't get in with their key fobs. They had to call and "wake up" the owner to come unlock the building. We weren't given good communication or how long the wait would be. Waiting with a baby on the side of High Street was less than ideal with her getting fussy being strapped in a stroller. Owner shows up almost 30 minutes later, doesn't even acknowledge us as she walks by and opens the door for the staff. Once inside one staff member realizes that we were the 10am reservation (not sure why that took so long? the building appears to be an old abandoned warehouse otherwise...). He apologizes for his unprofessionalism up to this point shows us around and promises our photographer a discount on a future booking for the inconvenience. Seemed the least they could do especially because a 20 min delay completely messed up our session as we had a staggered 20 min arrival of different family members to participate in pictures with our baby. HOWEVER, upon leaving photographer tells us staff member texted her during our shoot to say owner will actually not be offering any discounts now or in the future and he apologized for the miscommunication.... so I had considered coming back but DEFINITELY NOT for us or the photographer. As a studio-less photographer I am always on the hunt for a new creative space and the Millennial Suite was absolutely perfect! The natural light is great for any type of photography and the backdrops and props available to renters are lovely. Nuni was present while I was in the space shooting and she was so very kind. I appreciate all the love and care that went into creating this space. I can't wait to book again!

I am not sure if the venue supplied the decor or not, but the entirety of the venue, even down to structure of the actual building, is just really pretty. It's simple and has a rustic yet modern and clean farmhouse feel. Lots of greenery everywhere. The party lights strung all throughout the ceiling definitely added a very quaint and warm feel. I was surprised it only took the cocktail hour after the ceremony for the staff (of whom was very inconspicuous... I don't even remember barely noticing staff) to turn the room where the wedding took place, into the reception! With tables, linens, big grand center pieces... I mean... the works! It felt so cozy for all the ladies to gather and do the workouts and then meet with all the vendors. What I liked about the venue was the area inside was so inviting. Had I known about this place 4 years ago when I was getting married, I probably would have had my wedding reception here. Everything about this venue just made me love it like the rustic and artsy room. Perfect space to entertain guests. I can't wait to come here again in September for the Beauty Boost's fall version of the Taste of Fitness event. It will be bigger and even better! So mark your calendar peeps! You won't want to miss this fun event! Plus the event space isn't too shabby either!

Let me tell you…read morewhy: *It is the perfect space for a 50-100 group. *The aesthetics make it easy to dress up or keep casual. It can totally go either way. *NO PRE-SET CATERER. Or florist. Or anyyyyything else. You can literally bring whatever you want. This truly is an event-thrower's dream. *It's in the heart of the action -- the Short North -- but there are plenty of garages and street parking available. And then the biggest win at Venue 614 are the owners, Jen and Doug. To put it bluntly -- they just give a f*ck. About everything. They actually care about your experience, and they are incredibly easy to work with. I helped throw a 70-person holiday party recently, and partnering with Venue 614 was a DREAM. We collaborated together, and they jumped through so many hoops to help make my event great. I felt like we were truly in it together. I want to blab on and on about how amazing Venue 614 is, but hopefully you get the picture by now: The space is versatile and reasonably-priced, the options are limitless, and the owners are a dream team to work with.

Jen was great to work with, so easy and great communication. She made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Rob was extremely kind and helpful! And on the day of they made sure that everything went as smooth as possible, were extremely helpful, and made sure that everything went just the way we wanted. They have decorated the lounge area nicely for the holidays to give a warm feeling. My issue is with whoever was managing the kitchen that day. The event had chicken tenders and fries which were served for the kids, but they had run out. There was no sign that this option is for kids only, so unsurprisingly adults had taken these food items as well. Some of the kids do not eat anything else, so a few moms had asked if these items were going to be refilled. One of the staff members was really nice and said he would check, which then brought the chef out himself to say there were actually no more to be served, but he would fry a few for us. That was very kind of him, so we waited near the table for him. Ten minutes later we are approached by a man saying "sorry, no more food will be coming out." It had no context, so we said yes, we are aware, but a chef said he would bring a few out for us, to which he replied "listen, this was a freebie itself, there was only tenders for a 20 kid count... the buffet has already been discounted...it's in the contract... etc." I was like taken aback... 1) I'm not the host of the event, so I have no idea why a contract is being brought up to me who is just a guest attending, it was super unprofessional and unnecessary, 2) I did not demand any more food to be brought out, it was offered to us, and 3) I did not need this condescending attitude from this man, all he had to say is "I know the chef said he would make a few, but we are not able to offer more tenders." That right there would have been perfectly fine and that is no problem, because if you can't, you can't. He definitely put a negative vibe over something so simplistic just by the way of his attitude during a beautiful event. Shame!

    Been here a few times for a few different events. Since this is an event space that events…read morethemselves can rent out, I'll try to avoid commenting on the actual events. Instead, I want to focus a bit on the staff and space provided at the Kee. I've been surprised by the event staff here every time I've come to an event. Every time I've gone, the bar has been pretty understaffed. Customers will come up asking for water, and bartenders will wave them off, saying "Get water from the free dispenser over there" while the dispenser is empty. Maybe this is a barback issue? The bathrooms start out okay in the beginning of the event, but every event has been out of toilet paper and paper towels by the end. They're looking pretty shabby too. The Kee might consider mid-event janitorial services because women ducking into the men's room to steal toilet paper rolls to hand them off to other women who are sitting in the stalls is probably not the look you're going for. The space itself is cute. Rooms are wide open with ample walking space. The main room (the Kee calls it "The Venue") is huge and echo-y - which is a shame because this appears to be where they put live entertainment and music. We've had a hard time hearing any presenter's words in this room because of the acoustics. The additional rooms are super cute (love the arcade games and unique furniture), but they're only open during events if your event paid for them. The arcade games cost extra money. There are nearby parking lots that'll handle most small-event traffic, but if something huge is going on, you might need to figure out street parking. The hallways/entryways are definitely built for shuttling people through, and they handle entrance lines pretty solidly. (I'm a little confused by the Yelpers reviewing food or drinks here. The Kee is only open for private and public events. It looks like this might have been a restaurant space at one point?)

The bathrooms were awesome (pink sinks, faucets, and hand dryers in the women's room!) -the barista who manned the coffee bar for the event was wonderful. He made a phenomenal dirty cinnamon chai latte -I had a light lunch of whipped honey labneh and I never want yogurt again, just that. Chefs kiss. Another reviewer correctly pointed out that they already add a 20% service charge so do what you want with that info.
